It's so refreshing to see guitar tutorials done correctly! I recently started playing guitar and I found your video very simple and easy to understand. Can you make more videos where we can see your face? It's helpful for me to be able to look at my instructor. ;) Thanks again!

It's probably the timing (the hammer on is twice as fast as the 1,3,4), that or you're hammering on and not then playing the string open when you're playing the 1st, third, and fourth strings immediately after. Let me know if that helps! Best wishes!

@LoganCannonGuitar Thanks for the feedback! If you know anyone else that wants to know how to play it show em my vid! I wanna get this version out more cuz it's not difficult and sounds a lot better.

Nice tutorial, mate. Can you write down the tuning in description or in this comment? Thanks anyway 👍🏻

Thanks. It's from low to high: EGDGBD -- so tune your A down one whole step, and your high e down a whole step

Thanks! This is a good lesson but, for the life of me I can't seem to do it right!:( When I'm supposed to play the 1st 3rd and 4th strings after hammering the 3rd, it doesnt sound right! I'm kinda new at playing the guitar, what do u think im doing wrong?:(

Hey dude, thanks for this. It's a really good way he does it, so much easier and smoother than playing in standard. But, is there a way of accurately playing the "say you won't care" part? You can play it correctly in standard but I haven't found a way in this tuning, which is a real shame because I want to play it this way.

+Asa I'm sorry for the late reply.... I've been out of the country and away from technology for a couple years haha! I actually didn't do that right chords for that part... I just had it as the open chord: X00070 where you hammer onto the 8th fret, but what really happens is... well, here's the chords for the chorus C:X5X050 D:X7X070 Em:09X070 (with the hammer on from 7-8) G:X00070 (again, with the hammer on). That Em happens at the "say you won't care" part so I hope that's what you were talking about. Maybe I'll just post a video response of me playing along to the song...

This tutorial is good,....tho listening to it carefully i think there is 1 part missin' at "say you wont care",but still,great vid....thanks bro...👍

Btw,at the part "one thing i can do nothin' abt" i think the 5th strings' sequence should be 9th fret/4th fret(not open)/5th fret then 7th fret...well,at least thats how i heard it....😅

I really appreciate this tutorial, but it was really hard to follow as a beginner.
@dlinemusic7 жыл бұрын
Felicia Squassoni thanks for watching; sorry it was a bit tricky to follow; back then I couldn't upload videos longer than about 10-15 minutes so I had to try and cram as much in as possible as quickly as I could. try going through it and pausing after every little section and I'm sure you'll be able to pick it out! thanks

whats the strum pattern?
@dlinemusic7 жыл бұрын
Kelly Sunseri-Adams so the rhythm is in 6/8, meaning you'll count to six for every measure (or pattern, or repetition-whatever way you want to look at it). The pattern is D duduD duduD, the capital D's being the first count in every measure. Thanks for watching!
