I have Amouage Interlude 53 and Interlude Black Iris by Pierre Negrin already in my Collection and ordered Royal Tobacco just yesterday. I absolutely Love Cecile Zarokian. Her Fragrances are always spot on and she never failes. I also have Nishane Ani in my Collection and this was also made by Cecile. Brilliant Nose!

Boozy, tobacco and leather are also my favorite notes! My favorite Amouage is Overture, been using it all summer and it's amazing in the high dry heat, also Black Iris. I will get a bottle but I have some things to buy first. Love to hear your take on it, thank you Max!!!

I tried most amouage perfumes. I'm telling you this takes it to another level. One single puff and the place is blowing into a symphony of odors with tobacco being the conductor. 9 hours easy staying around

Royal Tobacco finally came at Eastern Europe outside parfumeries. It's 175 euros and can't wait to get my hands on this Amouage next week. As I heard it have power right away from new opened bottle and I like it. Can't imagine how strong it will get in few months.

Right there with you on the winning trifecta note breakdown of leather/booze/tobacco. It took my a long time to appreciate Amouage as they’re very complex. I like the direction of the new creative director, it’s a bit more accessible for me. Black Iris is still my favorite from this house. You do a great job with your assessment. Look forward to trying this new tobacco addition. Bottle looks lovely.

This sounds like it is right up my alley. My favorite Amouage is Jubilation 25 followed by Dia Man and Reflection Man. Tobacco, booze, and leather are my favorite notes in perfumery. I will definitely be giving this a sample! Great review as usual!

Great review. I purchased my bottle shortly after your review but haven’t worn it yet. It is now November 2022 & the temp in New Jersey finally dropped. Thanks for your insights, Max, and for all your work. I haven't yet smelled any of the Library collection fragrances by Amouage because of the price point. But if I am collecting my pennies, it is for them. The new bottles are exemplary in their design--understated but striking nonetheless. The powerful combination of cardamom and tobacco sounds just perfect and swoonworthy to me. I shall look forward to this, so I hope you pick me as one of the winners! Got a 2ml sample of Royal Tobacco. Very eager in anticipation of something fantastic. Unfortunately, it failed to float my boat. The scent to my amateur-nose: medicinal-herby juice, with anise, smoke, green and brown tobacco leaves.

I would like to win one of the decants because Interlude Black Iris is one of my all time favorites and my most worn tobacco scents are Naxos and Red Tobacco. The only Opus I have is my first and only Amouage ever. And that is Opus VIII. Powerful, resinous, dark, mysterious and unique. I love it. I can't wait to get more Amouages, especially Reflection, Jubilation, Epic, Sunshine, Beachhut, Overture, Royal Oud and this new Cecile masterpiece, Royal Tobacco. Thanks for the video, Max.
