It seems like Amouroud has a lot of great fragrances as they get mentioned on a regular basis, but I've never tried anything from this house. Oud happens to be one of my favorite notes in perfumery and this new Elixir line sounds interesting, especially Golden Oud and Noir Illuminee. Thanks for the chance! I'm in Oregon, USA.

I wear Silk route regularly, it’s one of the best “spice route” interpretation out there. I had also Santal des Indes, very beautiful but lines masculine on me or I have an issue with Santal lately, it’s going edgy and sharp on me. I also noticed that they’re changed the bottle for the elixir collection, they are gorgeous. Greetings from Romania and I’m looking forward for more rewiews.

As someone who used to live in Dubai. Ouds could be smelt everywhere, I really built up an appreciation of them (but maybe not quite the truly barnyardy ones). Would love to try out this house! Also p.s. amazing how the Fragcom says oud is a winter fragrance when in the Middle East it's pretty much hot year around and that doesn't stop them!

Rose is something I don't typically enjoy in a man's fragrance unless it's subtle and not the prominent note.
