Just the first floor is a treasure trove. With the storage place in the ship you can go modified Jeff hammer and blast the first fool you find store everything die come again. Every time I pass through Venus I check if I need something Edit: the biggest tip is to reload before you go up the stairs

Doing this mission right from the start, without Tunnel Rats or upgrades is possible. It requires you to wipe every floor clean, both humans and quasimorphs, get Carnage armor and a sniper rifle or a machine gun, use boss' melee weapon, abuse quasimorphic items (which you will get a lot of) and pray for RNG to not get any addiction. You're not limited on food since you will have 999 Q, so you can farm every item on the map to use on the next floor. 999 morphosis is also helpful because the marines will fight the quasimorphs for some time after you start the level. 5th floor is avoiding the fights & tunnel digging with an auto shotgun. The full run took me about 4 hours and a bunch of tries. It is hard.

i neeeed the full version of 0.8 with the rest of the story quests to come out. hopefully some which arent such an insane difficulty spike compared to everything else in the game

There was a bug that prevented Realware and the quasis from fighting each other. It got patched apparently, but whenever I run this mission they’re both trying to rush me down. Thank god for the WHIP

I think i sold the ancom quest chip to a wrong corp or something like that and hard locked myself out of the quest. Also, weapon upgrade being just a flat damage increase you can potentially get higer damage going for taiga m first, since it's cheaper and doesn't require you to farm springs. Later on you can do w/e with your 10 weapons limit. Varangian is also fairy easy to upgrade for melee. That said, any base resources are more or less infinite after you get recycler, cuz it gives back double the amount of stuff it takes to make items, so the bottleneck for upgrades is green chips.

theres a mod in the steam workshop that gives you acces to the game console just start a new mission do the command for the item id then remember the name and give yourself the item on your main file its what i did and now im running the quest

I am HEAVILY UNDERPREPARED for this mission compared to you. I only brought a single stack of morphine which didn't last 5 minutes on the first floor. It is now Intrusion and I am beginning to reconsider my choices. Edit: If I am not getting paid for this, then what's the point?! Screw this, I am just gonna find an item/mind/class chip and get off this rock!

I'm about 30 missions into the game and I still haven't found a single weapon case, so I still can't mod my weapons. I'm missing a lot of other Magnum upgrade items too; are there certain locations or mission types that have an increased chance of finding these items, or do I just have terrible luck?

Some of us have terrible luck Im 40 hours in and i haven't found a single class chip

Certain maps or factions drop specific loot, for example mining stations can drop welding machines, military factories can drop weapon and armor cases, and fighting RealWare with max marauder perk can also drop weapon cases on dead enemies. Grind is the name of the game in Quasimorph, don’t worry you WILL get everything eventually. Good luck!
