Bruh I got mines with 5 miles on it. I’m so excited. I was very apprehensive about electric vehicles BUT the future is here and I want it all. I’m impressed that there are so many charging stations and I got the home charger installed with a credit of 1500 from the dealer

I got this car, finally. I custom ordered it and it looks a lot like this one in the video, except mine is even more beautiful because it has the pinstriping for the accent. It is just gorgeous!! I get surrounded by people if I go to the store, if I come out of the store. people gather around the car and just rave about it. It's just as beautiful on the inside too. And I love the fact that it's a rocket ship. You step on the gas in this thing and man you are flying.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

@Smailcadillac Oh yea, good point, I wish I could share a picture, has the ceramic coating on the triple white coat paint & they even did something special to the tinted windows to make them even darker. Oh it is so nice!❤️
I have a 2024 Cadillac lyric all-wheel-drive luxury three. I have every single option, including the 19 kW charger and the power moonroof. The $7500 tax credit and a $5000 GM rebate I got for being forced to wait more than a year from my order helped with the $80,000 price tag a bit. Getting two years free of EVgo charging is almost the equivalent of $5000 more in rebate. Cadillac definitely has a winner here, but there are still bugs and glitches that need to be worked out of the software. If this car was fully loaded for $70,000 they would have a Tesla killer.

I have the 2024 sport 3, I just got my car back from an update. I had 13 error codes pop up from battery issues to drive train. But the software update took care of everything. But today I noticed while I was sitting in traffic. While the car was idling and I wasn’t moving the heater wasn’t as hot as it would be if I was driving. Have you had this problem?

It’s already a Tesla killer in terms of fit finish build quality and equipment availability

That’s a very nice car but your so-called expert is saying a lot of stuff that’s not true. First of all he’s grossly exaggerating the acceleration capability of the car. It’s more like 4 1/2 seconds 0 to 60 according to everybody that test the car. Also, he claims that my mode changes the suspension, but that car does not have an adaptive suspension on any trim level, so there is no way to change the suspension. Overall, nice video though.

I’m extremely curious about one thing, sorry for my ignorance… But what’s the source of energy that provides the US with electricity?? Because in Brazil those cars would be fantastic, as our main source of energy is both hydraulic and wind-derived…. To bad that here they cost a fortune…. A decent one is around 30, 40.000$….
@cbotten1069 ай бұрын
US gets (roughly) 60% from fossil fuels, 20% renewables and 20% nuclear. Which, by first world standards, actually, sucks. Ironically Texas, a fossil fuel producing haven, has highest percent of energy from renewables. Go figure. @@AutoPosts

Everyone says the Lyriq is a much better deal than the Blazer.
@PassportBrosBusinessClass9 ай бұрын
It depends what model lyric you buy. If you buy one of the Sport or Luxury - 2 or 3 - 600 E models, you’ll definitely be happier. I have a Luxury 3 600e. The interior is so good until you almost think you’re in a Mercedes. The Blazer’s interior is just slightly above rental grade. Functionally: they are almost identical. The same goes for the Acura ZDX and the Honda prologue.

@@dennisknehans3206 But at least an owner could fill it up in less than 10 minutes and drive 600+ kilometers without worrying about where the next gas station will be. And as far as being a piece of junk - well it is manufactured by GM so I'm not certain the powerplant will change the quality.

@@timthetoolman223 A few years ago I was in Spain (Valladolid) for several months where they were removing some parking meters and installing charging stations. The charging stations, at that time, were free to use. I did not look at the Amps they were rated at nor whether they were DC fast charging. But that was six years ago. This could be done anywhere in the USA where parking meters are installed, even those places where they have a mid-block payment station. These ‘charging meters’ can be dual purposed (of course, city wants a cut $$$) to charge for parking. Locally apartments are being built with charging capabilities in higher end buildings tied to each apartment’s service. My first apartment I rented in 1970 had 110v outlets throughout the parking lot for engine heaters (Minnesotan here) used in the winter. Parking spaces were not even assigned and the outlets were only switched on from 5am to 8am on colder days. These outlets were not uncommon to find in apartments in the north back in the days before electronic fuel injection, etc. It can be done. Retrofitting is much more complicated since most older buildings don’t have the service to supply sufficient power but with government funding or mandates it can happen. It’s inevitable.
