Hi Jenny. Sold! Such a good review, I had to get one myself. Didn’t quite manage under the hundred as by the time VAT was added it came in spot on the ton. No complaints though. I’m a bit of a sucker for LMS locomotives as my father’s family all lived in Crewe. Needless to say, many worked on the LMS. Great video.👍

Jenny, The differences between the Midland Compound and the one you just reviewed is the the Original one was built by the Midland Railway and the later one was built by the LMS - different companies in different batches.

A lovely model, expertly reviewed. It's a shame my loyalties lie with the GWR/WR & GER/LNER/ER. But I am tempted to make an exception! BTW, DC kits still have a new Hornby class 56 in EWS livery for £85.

Large diameter wheels also hare a larger conact patch on the rail. (albeit "Slightly" larger)

Hi Jenny great review, one of the main things is I think they had smaller driving wheels than the midland. These are some of bachmanns best
