Good thing the Lapponia is still gonna be around, but I won't get to try it for a while. Ive got two pairs of the 1.0 in boxes. Such good boots. Would like to try the Summit some day!

I just received the new Lapponian GTX2...I have a narrow foot and find that these just have too much volume through the foot. I really love the look and flex but even with the boot laced tight- a midweight/cushion Darn Tough sock and Super Feet insole - my feet swim in these boots. When standing I can curl my toes completely and have enough side-side foot movement that I'm nervous to put these in the wild. I wear an 11 in Nike/Adidas, I wear a 45 in La Sportiva and Scapa, my Nevada's (which I wear mid/late season with a really thick full cushion DT sock and SOLE insole) are a size 45. I have a medium high arch, no foot abnormalities, and tend to fall into a "narrow" foot line. I may try a 44.5 but I'm 99% sure they'll be too short and touch my toes.

Shoot, we're sorry to hear that. You might want to check out the new Altitude. They seem to have less volume then the Lapponia, and they aren't much stiffer. Looks like we are out of stock in your size but we should be getting more real soon. www.blackovis.com/crispi-altitude-gtx-boots

Crispi Wildrock GTX has a very forgiving toe box, and is available in wide. Also comes in a 400 & 800 gram insulation.

Would you say the Altitude is more similar to the summit vs the Attiva mid?

Fit would be closer to the Attiva Mid, but the flex and support would be closer to the Summit.

It just depends on if you want a stiffer boot. If you're wanting a lightweight boot with great ground feel, but still has good support, the Altitude is a no brainer.

@@BlackOvis Will do after I am off work. I have tried different ways of lacing them like Crispi suggests and so far it doesn't seem to help. Maybe I have weird feet, I don't know.

@@abrowncitizen I had to save money and take shit from my wife for buying a super expensive boot, so you have to factor that too lol. Luckily I sold mine and did not lose money. I am trying some Zamberlans next. Lowa Camino boots look pretty good too.
