It depends on the time of day and also the water clarity. The spot I’m at has that drain giving it clear water so that area is cleaning than the rest of the lake. So more fish congregate there. Ive been trying other spots on the lake with no luck.

do you think the swim bait is too fast for them? whenever i use a bit slower methods they seem to bite more but i dont know what im talking about lol, great vid as always!

It’s possible that it may have been to fast. The only time I’ve gotten a bite on that lure is when I rigged it on a drop shot. Sometimes fish only take finesse baits like the wacky rig. In my experience topwater along the bank and Texas/Wacky rigs work in the deeper water.

I usually fish in the morning because I work until 9pm. I do need to check out the afternoon and evening bite soon.
