FYI if you put the water tank in the radius of the intake pipe it just extends the intake to a further radius, so you can hide them on the approach to the hut :)

i added my own little flair to this build by making a balcony and a second floor, where you placed the two windows above the front door and also overhanging roofs

You can extend the range of the intake pipe. The water reservoirs are used for that.

@@LolsAtLance From what I have seen, you put the intake pipe in the water then a reservoir at the edge of the intakes range then you can put another at the edge of the reservoir range to further extend again and keep going from there.

I need a mod for the torches, to make them turn on and off automatically like before, because like this it's a pain in the ass to have to do it for the few you enjoy it and they never work when you need them.

The mode photo works also in the normal game and you can take photo to use it on canvas or flags or much more.

That's awesome, do you have to have paint equipped to get it onto the flags/canvas do you know?

@@LolsAtLance yes of course, you save the pic with the format you want, you have a menu to decide for what support you want to use it. Then you take a brush and you chose the pic you want to paint with the brush, it tells you what color you need and if everything is ok it starts to paint automatically and do the color change by itself and you have a wonderful paint. On canvas it has a paint look, on other support it look more like the original view.

One thing they've changed as well with the water tanks is that they will passively collect rain when placed outside which is something they didn't do in ASE. Very useful if you can't get close to a water source. You can then connect these with an Intake pipe and a water tap (you can actually close the water tap as well as an option so you don't have to listen to that aweful sound) and connect other taps throughout your home.

When it rains, the tanks will automatically fill up but I think they need to be at least one foundation away to work. @@LolsAtLance

I don't believe they did, you had to manually fill the tanks up which took WAY too long. Plus these ASA tanks hold so much more water than ASE, I think ASE had 200 for a stone tank while ASA Stone tank is 2500 @@LolsAtLance

Water tanks act as "pipeless" water range extenders for the intake pipe. Put your intake pipe back down, might need one water tank in-between, then you won't have to worry about not having water.

Not reading all the comments, but in case no one told you yet place the water pipe intake, then place water tanks at the edge of the pipes bubble, and it etends it add as many tanks as you like and they all fill from the intake and each other, no limits drinking water electricty works similar, but use power generators both to supply and extend, still "WIRELESS" electricty and water

I played on a vanilla ASE server. Unofficial. You can turn enable pickup structures in vanilla, you don't need S+ its just not active on official. 1x harvesting and no pick up... much respect to the patience of official players. Lol.

So because the ground was sloped there the foundation automatically snapped higher up, it will also do it if its sloped downwards. I'll let you know if I find a way to manually get it to do it

you can use a water tank to change the range of the pipe ...so you just need to put them down in a row to your house

So you can place one intake somewhere and then a line of water tanks to the place you need water at, with every water tank filling the next one down the line.

No, there are not pipes in ASA. You extend the range of the irrigation intake by daisy chaining the tanks. You just make sure the first tank is in the range of the intake, then each tank needs to be in the bubble that the new tank creates.@@LolsAtLance
