Armaf, there's nothing wrong with being a clone house. Stick to that. Don't let the niche bros get you down. They're a vocal minority. Most of us reasonable folks enjoy smelling great without having to spend a small fortune to do so.

That being said, they need to stop twisting perfumes they are cloning, and stop cloning Aventus, Sauvage, Invictus etc. there are tonnes of great perfumes to clone

I see zero problems if Armaf start doing great original fragrances. I cannot complain if we have more fragrances available. However, from a branding standpoint, maybe it would be better if they launched original fragrances under a different brand name (just my two cents).

I have no issues with trying out a higher end line. I just think they should have called it something other than Armaf or Club de Nuit. Armaf / Club de Nuit are names people associate with budget fragrances. I'm sure they used Club de Nuit for name recognition and to drive up sales, but it's like Toyota putting out a car to compete with Bentley, but still calling it a Toyota.

they never intended to sell these at 175$, it's just a marketing trick to make 80$ pricetag look reaesonable, also it's a way to implant an idea of armaf as niche house with niche pricing, that for now, due to te low prestige of the brand, sells out at low low price of 80$

Thanks for the introduction. But i personally try to keep my fragrance prices in the designer price range. Thats a little steep for a clone thats getting into the niche range and i don't buy Niche fragrances IMO niche dont do anything spectacular that a designer fragrance wont do.

Not on topic but have you ever heard of something called Code 18 it's supposed to be a clone of Armani Code and I never see it mentioned on any fragrance KZbin channels but you should check it out does have that Armani Code scent although I'd say it hits abit stronger while the actual Armani is more tame.

Well its not the first time a brand tries to shake off their cheap image and appeal to high end costumers, in any sector, some succeeded others crashed and burned or had mixed results.... lets wait and see

Sounds like they came out with their own designer style fragrance to compete with other designers for the price of a high end designer. A better proposition for that price would be if the they went all out niche and released something that is very different from anything else out there making it unique and “niche” but not necessarily too challenging then sell it for $150-$200 then maybe people would be interested potentially. This just feels like it’s another designer release that just kinda smells like what’s already been done and that’s already a very saturated market. They could’ve done something totally different and stood out. Or they could’ve done something just like they did release a “designer” but sell it for the price of a clone.
