Here in Indonesia seeing that Indonesia is a diverse country, some stations use the folk song at the respective areas. For example, Yogyakarta station uses Sepasang Mata Bola, Bandung and other stations in West Java used Manuk Dadali, Surabaya Pasarturi used Surabaya Oh Surabaya, and others.

When I took the north south line at Dhoby Ghaut today, the melodies are switched. Soundtrack 1 was used for southbound trains and sound track 2 was used for northbound trains 😅

Kind of. SBS has a similar problem where the “train at platform _x_ is crowded” is sooo long that it hasn't finished announcing when the train has already arrive. Prob due to too many languages or the “thank u for your cooperation” was not changed into “thank you” for shortening.
