I know for me, it's not about me needing a space like that to draw, but wanting it; it's nice to have your own space to mentally relax and do what you love. To decorate it in a way that soothes your mind; I never had that so I get envious of those who do. It's a lovely space though ☺️

@@reginaldforthright805 first off you just have to get a good screen tablet which are expensive up front but still are the same to use and if you treat your stuff well it can last way longer than that I’ve had my huion Kamvas for 4 years and it’s only like 300$ I get personally a lot of people like physical drawing and I get that but saying it’s unrealistic to make art physically without spending thousands of dollars is ridiculous all ya need is a pencil and some good markers and paper which is like 50 bucks

Totally justified! Having a separate space to create art is great but I will say it was only a few years ago when I started my KZbin channel from a desk in my bedroom - everyone starts somewhere!

@@reginaldforthright805 this is your opinion, not a universal fact. there are plenty of artists on social media who have accomplished a lot, exclusively producing digital art, while still using older tablets. i think saying that you need to have a nice setup, etc is self-sabotage. you just need to stay motivated and enjoy creating the art you make. good luck!

First even before I see the tour, THANK YOU for mentioning we don’t have to have this kind of space to make art! As I practice more And see hobbyists with crazy set ups, I’m really feeling lacking in that so it’s really nice to hear. I’m trying to remind myself it just needs to functional and conducive to creating Also - great idea to have black frames to tie in the tech! I am going to definitely try that

Check to make sure your thermostat is able to get air flow and such. If it’s older it actually checks the air temp and that’s how it works the heat and such

Thank you for the tour! I am taking notes for when I get my first little space to live on my own. I wanted to finish up my Bachelor's degree before taking that seriously. I tend to decorate my space in neutral colors (whites, blacks, tans, grays...) and my style is somewhere between rustic and modern, but I'll be looking for some colorful art prints to buy, so that I can hang them up around my tiny art studio area I plan on having combined with my office area!

This video was soooo satisfying to watch. Love your new space and how organised yet cute it looks! I'm also currently re-organising my remote office / arts&crafts room, so this gives a lot of great inspiration haha. I especially like that shelf where you store your pens/markers, seems like it makes it easy to quickly find a certain colour. I've hated how my room had become so full of clutter as things didn't really have their own space so they were just laying around wherever... I already got another one of those Ikea Alex drawers, they are so spacious and great for storing tools, papers, etc. I'll definitely try to learn from how you organise your stuff and get ideas, so thank you so much for sharing this video! :>
