My dearest pear fleur, A year ago, one of our lovely family cats passed, and I will never forget that on her last week with us, she was already really sick and i sat with her on the couch to watch one of your videos; I have been a huge fan of your work for over 6 years already, I never skip or lose a video, but somehow, now, even a year later, I watch your videos and they remind me of our little Mononoke, sitting with me, on the couch, watching you paint. So, I just want to say thanks, for making part of such a beautiful and meaningful memory for me. And to my little Mononoke, I miss you, and I’ll love you forever. Lüi ❤

Your sketches have such an interesting vibe, soft pastel ones especially. They look familiar, but not quite identifyable, like some fuzzy childhood memories.

Well said. I was searching for words to describe it.

Just an idea. Since the pastels offer such soft vague shapes and the markers more crisp graphic shapes, I think after hitting the pastels with the spray fixative it would be an interesting experiment to attempt to layer the markers over the pastels. The combo could offer some fun design challenges.

i just want to say a big thank you for posting your stunning art. I've always had a need for everything to be perfect, but you've helped me realise art is an expression and that beauty is within the eye of the beholder. you've been helping me get through my artist's block with your videos and i am forever thankful. i haven't painted in over half a year but yesterday (with your videos in the background!) i put brush to paper and started creating. My comment doesn't do justice to the good you're doing. You are such an inspiration. Thank you so much :)

Yasss love the sketchbook tour, it's been so long since the last one I think. You always make me remember my stored away supplies that have accumulated dust. I think you moved somewhat recently so a studio tour would be fun to watch:) I also love watching you paint color studies, or painting with your nicker poster colors 🩵

YAY!! I love when you post and always look forward to it, thank you so much for your hard work, both in your art and in your recording+editing! I love your world if that makes sense. Every video is like a trip I get to take, visiting this cool intangible place that you've created through a combination your physical space, your editing, your art, your voice, your ideas. We love you:)))

Your art always inspiring to pick up my very neglected mediums and to get over my fear of filling up my sketchbooks. Also, the cat bloopers were the cherry on top I hope we'll see their cameos in future videos!

Have you seen art of the swedish painter Hilma af Klint? Some of your art reminds me of her (like at 02:38). She lived about a century ago and is still widely unknown, despite being a pioneer in abstract art years before more famous artist like Kandinsky or Mondrian created theirs. There's a current exhibition of Hilma's art in Bilbao Spain, you can see some of her pieces on the Guggenheim museum page, too, like "the ten largest" (literally). I love her art, it's wholesome somehow a mix of natural and abtract elements. Thanks for showing your sketchbook and work in progess! 03:00 makes me think of studio Ghibli movie background sceneries :) Your cute cats seem to enjoy your japanese pastels as much as you do. Hope you're aware of the precautions mentioned on choosingkeeping for the usage? Loved the shots of the colors shown from 10:57 🌈♥!
