The craziest thing about this reaction video is that the whole time where I was amazed at the level of Busta's word play, these new generation seems to be more focused on the visuals than Busta's actual lyrical skills. It's such a different criteria today in regards to what's valued as both "interest" & "talent."

100 percent. The delivery was just lost on them. Except for the one who talked about how creative Busta is. But considering how much visuals matter to them you'd think they'd take more risks in their own videos.

Do you have any idea how painful it is to see a generation of performers who DON’T KNOW who Busta Rhymes is? I’m not even that deep into rap but I’ve seen enough to remember that when this came out it was mind-blowing. The rhymes were tighter than a military haircut but the delivery was funny and smooth too… This guy is a (expletive) pioneer in rap and his videos were cutting edge. To see kids that can’t or maybe more to the point won’t recognize his artistry is really tough.

I really enjoyed watching these reactions. If you want to make it in the game and you don't know classics like this, you're not taking your job seriously enough. I wish I got the sense that these new school guys were trying to learn something here, and it was sinking in a bit. but at least the majority of them appreciated it. Talent is timeless.

Seeing this confirms to me the lack of intelligence that has permeated the hip hop industry today. If these young guys are representing the industry there is no hope for the blk community at large. No creativity, no ingenuity, no doubt in my mind that they lack a cognitive functioning mind. Busta was not only lyrically talented, but was an actual creative artist. I don't listen to today's music and looking and listening to these young people's reactions confirms why I will continue to grow intellectually and not rot my brain with their apparent dumbed down rhetoric and shallow views.
