Asics Court FF3 are actually now HEAVIER than the Gel Res 9s! Check the numbers. I play tested the Asics Court FF3 and found the COMFORT issues in this new model too much to overcome. The shoe felt fine walking around my house for one day, but once I got them on the court, a number of significant issues became very apparent. First and foremost, there is a problem with the cushioning under the heel of the shoe. After an hour of play on the court, my foot was throbbing, and it felt like I had rocks under my heels. Whether this is due to the new “Air Channel” in the heel creating a smaller stack of foam in that part of the midsole or if it is due to the higher density foam of this design creeping into a major part of the heel cushioning, I am not sure. What I am sure of is that my feet hurt for three days after one hour of play in these shoes. Overall, I found very little bounce from the midsoles of these shoes and nearly no shock absorption. Perhaps if I added insoles to these shoes I could have improved this, but I feel strongly if you are paying $165. For a pair of tennis shoes, they should feel right out of the box and after proper break-in without adding another $50. in insole cushioning. In short, fit and cushioning needs to be good for me without making modifications to be a keeper. Finally, I did not feel this shoe was all that quick. They felt a bit slow to react when needed - especially up and back. The fit of the shoe is also a bit tricky. All in all, I was not at all impressed with the Court FF3 and cannot recommend them based on my experience. I don’t know what it is with Asics and my body, but proper cushioning and medial support continues to be a problem for me in all their shoes - the FF3 being the worst.

@@crazySeafood Thanks! I have not been that disappointed in a tennis shoe in a while - outside of the Adidas Cybersonic (zero flexibility in that shoe). I felt I should share that opinion with others.

You've worn your FF2's for 2 years? How much tennis do you play Harry? I wear out shoes every 3 months. These look pretty good even though they are worn by Joker. I have always been a fan of ASICs. I used them when they were the standard for Volleyball players and runners. Always light and extremely comfy. Thanks.

I bought some of those because I needed some shoes last minute and was mad they didn't have the rafa shoes, I'm loving those tho. Didn't realize they were such a big deal. I got the grey with fourecent yellow that Novak was just playing in yesterday

Any idea how they go on clay? They say all court surfaces shoe but seems like it leans toward a hard court shoe

Hi, how about reviewing the New Balance CG1? Coco Gauff's shoe - it's sized in unisex sizes for everyone.

Omg I'm looking to replace gel resolution 7 because I have been feeling heel pain as well. Weirdly is only my left foot. I thought these would be a better option

@@Famouss same for me on my left ankle. I think it’s because we serve and land on the left… after many games we feel the stress.. I’ve just bought the new balance lav2. That has higher ankle support. Also had gel resolution 7 and 8 previously…

I developed terrible shin splints that put me in a boot for 3 weeks from the gel resolution 9. Switched to the FF3 and so good so far. Strange you’re getting opposite results
