Quick question: Why was it decided the fighter inspiration would come from the F/A-18, a jet not operated by the Royal airforce. Why not the Typhoon or F-35 which is British operated for a British company?

Cars are meant to be driven... Hopefully without inhaling a bunch of insects. The lack of a windshield is a deal breaker not to mention the fact that without a top there is no way to have side airbags in case of an accident.

Do your homework... it's not like Ferrari Monza SP2 was the first. From the beginning it's based on the classic race cars from way back in the days (the 50's) which was open top, but if you're going to say Aston Martin copied any modern car you should probably say it's the Mercedes Stirling Moss from 2009.

@@Jakrabat94 errr the slr was literally 3 generations & a decade ago. Ferrari brought it back in 2018, and Aston ride the wave 1 year later, evidence by their own admission that the car been in development for 1 year. Not a coincidence the monza was introduced 1 year ago.

The headquarters and main production of its sports cars and grand tourers are in a 22-hectare facility in Gaydon on the site of a former RAF V Bomber airbase. In 1925 the factory was sighted at the former Whitehead Aircraft Limited Hanworth works in Feltham. In WW2 Aston converted production to aircraft parts for the war effort.

I would so like to see all those styling cues integrated in to a V12 Vantage S. Front, side a lower part of the rear, but with a standard Vantage roof. Any of course the full DBS power. Now that would be the Ultimate GT Aston. The front of this car should become the standard Vantage front. It just looks so right. Where as the ‘Hunter Grill’ is very marmite and in many ways holds the Vantage back from being a truly beautiful Aston. The back was always it’s best end. Great film as always James!
