The carbine numbers are really marginal on deer. It isn't that you can't, but just don't think those are super healthy numbers. That is low end. To make it compact and pump friendly they went to the low end, which is a good thing. Just so long as people are using good judgement.

Bow guns are lame. Make semi auto big bore airifles that sling at least 200fpe out and semi auto airpistols in 22 to 30cal that do 80 to 100fpe. Huben knows what to do they only have 2 products and theyre like the best, a bullpup in 25cal that slings up to 120fpe and can get almost 100shots a tank and a semi auto 25cal pistol thats pusjing 90fpe and is more powefull than a 22lr handgun and the pistols only $1250 and alot of airguns that sling 25cal at 60 or 70fpe and arent even semi auto are in the same price range. People need to step it up. Aea was going to release these cartrdige based guns before covid but due to the financial hit caused by covid they dropped the whole line. They had a 1911 called the one and a 500mag revolver called the 500. Both had 5 or 6 round capacity used pre charged cartrduges the size of about a shotgun shell, yhey could be shot in every cal from 22 to 50cal by swapping barrels and topped out at 150 to 160fpe and were so close to release even had a starting price of $750 on the website. They had a 338 bolt action rifle using bigger carts that did like 250fpe they had a barret 50cal looking semi auto using same carts and doing 250fpe they had a assult rifle looking one with a 20round box mag that did like 200fpe i beleive like if they can make something like that so can these other companies. The modoc 9mm used carts of the same volume as their defender 2 but they only held 3000psi not the 5500psi the defenders carts held and it pushed 357 80grains at 200fpe out a 34in barrel. I know doing tests with the defender i was getting 100 to 125fpe out the short barrels using 457sabots charging at 6000psi and with some homemade custom 18in long barrels was doing like 170 to 185fpe with those same rounds and charge. Like why is no one utilizing that tech? Makes the guns way smaller and has box mag capabilities and its actually viable to hand pump those small cartridges and if you made a bullpup you could have a rifle thats 30in long with a 26in long barrel and because of how the carts work you can make them semi auto and because the mags in the stock you could even have bigger carts with more volume and more power and all youde need to swap calibers is to change the barrel and screw a different tip on the cart that the slug sits in. Like if they had the ability to have a 1911 semi auto 6 shot mag fed pcp pistol that did 150fpe in 50cal with 180grain slugs in 2018 to 2019 they could surley produce at least that today. I would love a little semi auto bullpup that has bareet 50cal sized mags which sit in the stock holding 10 to 15rounds that can throw 357 to 50cal slugs with 200 or more ftlbs. Youde litterally destroy the market and everyone wll want your gun if you sold it and becayse it uses cartridges youde be able to keep making money from people buying more and more cartridges unlike how it is today where someone buys one rifle every 10years and thats it. You could be having someone buy a rifle just as expensive along with another $300-$500 of cartridges every year after that to increase how many they have on hand or to replace ones theyve shot to shit

The cartridge technology is actually old. I believe it didn’t fully catch on as it required to much work. Most airgunners are happy to plink long and short distances with 80 shots per fill on their BRK Ghost or FX Impact.

@@americanairgunner There is probably a certain kind of enthusiast, that is over the moon for them. But they also should appeal to people who want a thing to hunt big game. That is pretty much can't miss, quiet, has no regulatory overhang. I have a friend, and he is qualified as a hunter and a firearms owner, but his house is on a narrow lot, and the area is overrun with deer. This would be perfect. He can be sure of a perfect shot. He can make it without disturbing the neighbours. And the similarly advanced crossbows are a lot more expensive.
