Always great to come along for a day of adventures. We can always google info but there's no alternative for the experience other than actually being there. Also, I've always loved the Falcon but I think Rise is an incredible attraction. From the start of the queue to the transport to the ride itself.

I was there on Saturday, too... it was sheer insanity. Something was wrong with the Storm Troopers, though... they kept wishing everyone a pleasant day or a nice day. I was so confused. LOL Also, when I went on ROTR, the line was so long, something that I have NEVER seen happen before, there was a line as soon as we got out of transport to the landing bay with the star troopers... as you did, they usually rush you through, there. But no... we were in a line right up against the rail for a good few minutes. It was a real treat to get a longer look at that space.

Going through a ruff patch, my job is killing me. I wasn't able to do anything this year for May the 4th and I was really bummed out. I'm mentally and physically exhausted, and I do it to myself. Sorry mild rant. Watching your videos, always changes my mood, and makes me feel so happy. I thank you for that. Wish I lived closer so we could actually hang out some time. But your videos really do so much for me, gets rid of all my anger I hold on too. Just makes me feel very happy. Thank you so much guys. And to answer your question Bryan, I love Rise just a little bit more then Smugglers Run. Granted they are both in my top 2 rides in all of Disney. Thank you can't wait for the next video.

Welcome back! It's so good to see you guys happy and thriving. Your little baby is absolutely precious! oh ma gosh, I wanna squish her cheeks. ^_^ I love the name you chose. I'm glad you got your little pilot the T-16. Maybe she'll be the one to finally make it to Toshi Station to pick up those power converters. :) It's only been - what - 47 years they've been sitting there? I'm back to being a commuter cyclist now. Even though I have an awesome backpack, I WANT THIS ONE SO BAD!!!! It's so cool!!! *cries in broke waitress.* If I have money after bills are paid, it's MINE. Bryan, as a nerd girl (and last kid) raised by a nerd dad, if I may, allow me to kindly bestow upon you knowledge of how a nerd girl perceives her nerd father. (It's lengthy - I'm a writer who got 1 hour of a glorified nap after closing shift, a double espresso and a Redbull - but trust me, it's positive.) ----------------------------------------------- Alice is going to have you wrapped around her tiny little finger forever. You've already lost that battle, dude. :) You never stood a chance. Not only because she's always going to be your baby girl (that will never change), but because she'll be your nerd baby girl. That's a whole unique bond. My father did exactly with me what you're doing with Alice, and I am *so* happy to see it. :) When my dad found out I liked sci-fi and fantasy, he went whole ham. My siblings weren't into it like I was, so I'm the one he bonded with. He's the only one in my family who understood me - still is. He showed me Star Wars when I was 4. It's the first movie I remember seeing in life. It made a huge impact on who I am. He took me on the original Star Tours the year is opened ('87. I was 5) - even though I was terrified and screamed the whole time. In hindsight, it was probably not the brightest idea. Sensory overload for tiny AuDHD brain. But every time I went to Disneyland after that, I HAD to go on it. I would throw a fit if I didn't go and get back in line over and over. He would take me every time knowing what would happen. As I grew up, the screams turned into cheers. SHOW NO FEAR!! I was also the kid he had to keep on a leash since I kept running off trying to find TomorrowLand, or getting distracted by pretty much everything. Disneyland is huge and confusing when you're 3 feet tall. Disneyland saying, "Kids are never lost in Disneyland. Parents are." I sill have my Empire Strikes Back sleeping bag he got me when I was little. My dad is the reason I love sci-fi and fantasy. He's the reason I grew up to be open minded absorbing hidden wisdom in lessons from ST: TNG, Star Wars, and other sci-fi, trained to recognize them when variations showed up in media, and think about them - even if I didn't understand the lessons. He's the reason I was never afraid to venture into fantastical worlds, to suspend my disbelief, and worldbuild my own galaxy (which is a pain, but a lot of fun). No matter what my age, if I had a sci-fi story idea, or random imaginine, he wouldn't tear me down saying it's for boys. He would encourage my imagination. He nurtured my creativity, supported me, defended me, and bought me Star Wars figurines and ships when I wanted those instead of dolls. (the incentive of an allowance to rake the leaves dropped by all 5 trees in the front yard at once was worth it when a Star Wars toy was on the line.) He's the reason I grew up with the Force in a galaxy far, far away, and went on adventures with the crew of the Enterprise D who went boldly where no one had gone before. And he's the reason I write sci-fi/fantasy today. Because he taught me that I can. My dad taught me how to believe. He taught me through words, but mostly in his own actions he knew I saw and might emulate. And I did. My first book is dedicated to him. My dad always saw ME- who I am. He never tried to turn me into something I wasn't. He didn't try to change who I am fundamentally to fit an expected mold I was never meant to fit despite society doing its best to do so. He still sees ME and supports me down here in L.A pursuing my dream despite all of my failures. He won't let me give up. He raised me to look at the world through the lessons of Gene Roddenberry, with one foot in science to keep me grounded, and the other in magic to let me fly. Balance in the Force. It wasn't easy. There were struggles, fights, and times we both lost our way - but that's part of life. He didn't give up on me. And because of that, and what he taught me about life through the lens of sci-fi, I didn't give up on myself. And I didn't give up on him. "It's not an adventure unless there's bad times. Because then you know that something good is on the way." It feels heartwarming when I'd remember my dad as the strongest man in the world, the times he'd pick me up on his shoulders, make me laugh with Donald, Mickey, and Goofy voices (Goofy was my favorite.), and how he'd "fly" me around in my imaginary X-wing taking out the Death Star (yes, he did that, and I loved it "Flying" was my top tier game. I actually miss it). He's in his mid 80's now, and in a way, still raising me. I can call him for advice, or talk nerd shop with him. Whenever I do, I can hear a light shining in his voice, and that's worth everything to me. :) I will always, ALWAYS love my dad for being the best supportive nerd dad a girl could ask for. I will always happily be his nerd baby girl. :) And I will always be grateful to him for teaching me how to believe. I sincerely wish this kind of positive bond will be true for you and Alice. :)

@@Amanda-rt3bq I will say this though, every year on every May 4th cruise, we’ve seen a Marvel movie open on the ship the night before America gets to see it and we’ve really enjoyed that aspect a lot. We did a Marvel Cruise out of Miami on the Dream and it was fun. There wasn’t much merch available at all for that Marvel Day at Sea either. If you want to cruise, I’d say Disney is still a great way to cruise.
