Girl, I’ve been loving the universal shade as a primer! I was matte allllllllll day. I’ve worn it under several different foundations and they have all worked well. I had to exchange the tinted one for a different shade so will be trying it this week. 😘😘

I’ve tried it in shade 8 and I have normal to dry skin. It definitely works better with a primer and nice fluffy brush. If you have dry skin I used fenty hydrating primer then used the balm as a foundation

I got Shade 4 as well. I’m really enjoying it as a primer for my oily skin . It really kept my oils at bay. I think I may get a shade lighter to try as a eye primer for my oily lids.

Lol yess, update. I bought the balm and I like it, but it doesn't hold up to my oils lol. I take a bit longer to get oily but I still do and it eventually breaks the balm down lol (I do set the balm with a powder foundation. Guess my oils can't be stopped. I want to get the LH Matte attack primer and pressed powder that has the same oil absorbing ingredient as the balm, and use all 3 together, I'm curious to see if it works.

So, I have this balm powder is shade 9 and I'm trying to decide if I really like it. I've worn it twice and I must say that I do like it to a degree. When I apply it with my fingers (after primer) it tends to ball up a bit but still wears well. I'm going to try it with a brush and see how I like it. I LOVED your review of this though 😊

I know this is old but recently got this as mini sample in a Sephora order and oh my gosh, this is magic! I'm blown away, this outperforms my favorite primer, the Urban Decay All Nighter. 12 hours and my makeup looked as if I'd put it on that morning. Do you still reach for it when not filming?

Hi! I'm in the shade 9n, I review that one too! ☺️❤️Well the balm has a lot less shades because they're adjustable so you wouldn't be the same shade as the serum foundation! 😘💕

I think doesn’t matter what DM said about that balm is for all skin types, it is not because is more to people to control oily skin they enjoy this balm much more, dry skin need more hydration and little bit of those natural oils through the day.
