Asalam alaikum Hamza Yusuf, As a Physicist, I gotto tell you, Modern Astronomy and Astrophysics is totally amazing in an unimaginably mind blowing way especially since it proves to non-believers scientifically all the related facts given in the Quran which reference things in this universe eg: 1. The beginning of the universe 2. The universe expanded 3. The universe is still expanding 4. The universe was a mass of tiny particles (best described to people of thr 6th Century as like "smoke" 5. The universe condensed from its "smokey" nature to form muons, gluons, quarks, electrons ... progressively large structures protons, neutrons ... atoms...molecules. 6. The death of the sun (expanding so huge that it collides with the Moon, boils away the oceans on earth, melts the mountains...) 7. And much much more as you know

Sheikh Hamza is amazing. Every year i take a trip to my village home and the village has no electricity and no running water. So imagine lying under the sky at night seeing the sky from my roof. Amazes me and especially when there is a full moon and the stars and in the morning seeing sun rises its just magical and soul inspiring. Seeing the nature heals my soul and body.

Life saver dude. My Muslim brothers and sisters please pray for me as I genuinely am having a big problem believing in Allah. Though I sort of intellectually convinced but these thoughts don't leave me. I need help urgently my people.

You are not alone, my brother, we all go through this and it's a tribulation. I would advise you to listen to a number of Shaykh Hamza Yusufs lectures, there are many to listen from. But what I will say is that will revive your imaan is the life of the Prophet Muahmmad peace and blessings be upon him. Especially this knowledge of the end times and the great accuracy behind it. Also steer clear of meaningless thoughts and words of disbelief from the disbelivers and don't fall into the traps of overthinking. Read or listen to the Qur'an, I would recommend a great recitor by the name of Omar bin Hisham. Don't worry brother, Allah is anyways there and just speak to him. In Sha Allah things will become better. May Allah guide you by the stars, Ameen. Stay strong my beloved brother. Assalamualaykum

The knowledge to produce all technologies are given to us by Allah when me make efforts to invent/create them, and they are a blessing. The fact that some people choose to use some technology for evil is totally their choice and does not make the technology evil. The Prophet (pbuh) used the LATEST TECHNOLOGY available to him in his community and affordability (Pottery, metals, textiles, hunting gear, etc )thus it is Sunnah to advance ones self and community in education and technology for the betterment of all. This includes street lights to make night workers and travelers in cities safer. If you live in a city/town and want to experience complete blackness, please purchase some "blackout curtains" for your bedroom. they are quite nice looking and work well to block out all street lights at night. If you want to see the stars, take a night trip out of your town/city to the farmland areas- it makes a huge difference and kids love it. So which of the blessings of your Lord do you deny? Light?

Rarest the day I began to observe the stars with a camera or telescope that’s when I new for sure everything revolve around us. And just as Hamza says the heliocentric is just based on difficult mathematical equations. It’s flat it can not be round.
