Ateez is definitely a whole other vibe. I love Kpop because there really is something for everyone, you just have to give it a chance. I'm glad I did with Ateez because I understand why they are popular. They have a very edgy and eccentric style (based on this one song/video), and some of the vocalists really stand out for me. Like when Choi Jong-Ho hits that high note and his eyes got so intense, I was super impressed but it also made me laugh. Don't ask me why, it was just cute. I don't feel as connected to the members so I think I need to watch them more in interviews so I can get a better sense of their personality. I'd like to do more reactions so please let me know what song(s) I should do! 🙏🏼

Oooooo…. I love your reaction format! It is different and perfect for learning about Ateez. Despite their incredible MVs, Ateez is actually known for their high energy live performances. Most reactors only ever see their MVs. You also seem to focus on vocals. Well, Ateez is the group for you! Best reactor I have seen in quite a while. KQ is the company they are under and are know for being pretty reactor friendly. I haven’t seen a reactor have any issues with any content from their channel. They are also known for both their non-standard song flows including anti-drops and multiple layers bridges and choruses. Many of their songs are like anthems. They have a nickname as the ‘last 30 second idols’ due to their tendency to have explosive ending to their songs. I am not sure what types of songs you like, but for MVs: MY favorites that are ‘signature’ Ateez: Guerrilla, Halazia, Crazy Form, The Real, Utopia Debut - Pirate King and Treasure (double title tracks) Epic - Answer, Halazia Mid tempo - Inception, Say My Name, Utopia (vocals are amazing) Ballads - Turbulence, Everything (unit song with just main vocalist Jongho) Bangers - Guerrilla, Fireworks, MATZ (unit song with Hongjoong and Seonghwa only), Bouncy, The Real Sexy - Deja Vu, IT’s You (unit song with only San, Yeosang, and Wooyoung), Cyberpunk (no MV, but there are some amazing fancams out there look for ones in the black outfits; I don’t want to ruin Cyberpunk for you, but just be prepared 😂) Bright - Eternal Sunshine, Aurora

A lot of people like Ateez because they change the genre of music at least three times in their videos and people wonder how they do it. It’s so great and it just works. Also they’re very lively on stage and they just have this thing about them where the individuality just stands out and it’s so great to see that in a group because sometimes K-pop idol groups have to just smile and dance and look normal but I really like this group because they’re just exciting. It’s not a boring moment with them for me. I consider them to be the total package.

Ateez are so outstanding. Each of them shine so much, its crazy, I’ve never seen a group where each of the members bring such a different energy from one another. Although their image is really harsh and mature and some people would say noisy, Ateez also have their softer releases, which are not that known.

You won’t be disappointed withAteez I have been watching them to since they became a group. I love all their music their live stage performances. If you really want to see their vocals, watch some of their performances while they’re sitting on a stage with just a piano in the background no audience sound also Jungho the one with the high voice. He has a video where he sang wildflower and in immortal songs, too he sings a song, called So You his voice is impeccable, and some of his songs will make you cry the way he sings it he loves to sing ballads, keep watching more of their videos. They are called the stage performance kings. They are impeccable at singing, dancing, live performances, solo songs they just released three songs from the members. One is Matz another one is called it’s you another one is called youth and another one is called everything these are just separate little videos from different members of the group. If you're willing to know more about them you have a very long journey full of pleasant surprises. Ateez did many genres in their vast discography. They debuted 5 years ago with double title track "Pirate King" and "Treasure". From there on they only got better and better. Not only their title tracks are hard hitting bangers, but also their b-sides are amazing (many of them soft ballads and summery vibes). Recommendations: Guerrilla, Halazia, Be with you and Wake up.

The weird thing is, before I heard him sing I just had a feeling he'd be really great. His voice has such a beautiful tone and on top of that he can hit those crazy high notes, flawlessly. I just don't know how you can think of him any less then an incredibly talented vocalist.

Haven't really listened to ateez much😅 but they have been around sinds 2018 I think, the song definitely grows on you the more you listen to it.. definitely a club banger one where you dance your soul out of your body😅 and be tired afterwards sitting at the bar drinking a cocktail to cool down . the mv is awesome need to rematch it a couple of times it's alot a wirl wind same with the dancing verry impressive 🤭 I remember watching a youtube series about them pre debute where they trained in the United States they where called after their company back then KQ Fellaz if I'm not mistaken.. anyways I used to listen to everything but haven't really listened many groups in a minute so it is nice to revisted them and experiencing them with you.. So glad you are checking out Ateez. They have such a diverse discography and experiment with so many different genres. Crazy Form is very different from what they have previously released yet is still very much Ateez if that makes sense. I found that it is also a song that took me a couple listens to really grow on me. Highly recommend checking out some of their other songs. Some of my recommendations for a new Atiny are Guerilla, Halazia, Wonderland, Answer, Deja Vu but you really can't go wrong with any of their title tracks. They also have some of the best B-sides I've heard, not one filler song to be found on any of their albums.

@tdragonreactions it has to do with Ateez Lore. It's a long lore, but worth looking into if you are going to watch Ateez content. Every MV has part of the lore in it. But, you can read about it online. I just see people watch their MV and are confused by the endings. The Lore is why the endings can seem confusing. If you read up on it, it won't be so confusing. Can't wait to watch Halazia with you. That's my favorite!!

Ooh I love this reaction! Thanks for checking out ATEEZ and in such detail for the first time. Ateez usually do save their high energy drops to the last 30 secs of the song! Halazia is another unique sounding song if you decide to check out more from them. Jongho (the youngest) is indeed an insane singer, but even more shocking is that during their crazy form promotions, they went to Japan and performed this on a tv show there without Jongho (maybe as he was still recovering from an injury around this time hence not being in the dance scenes for the MV), so other members covered his vocals in the live performance - with one of the rappers doing the higher notes from his parts! They are crazy talented and dedicated to singing live despite their heavy choreo 👌

one thing i recommend to react to is ateez stressor things, its a horror series with around 8 episodes i think, there is a 2 hour long youtube video with all the episodes in it where u can watch it for free with subtitles and they dont copyright! its really good to watch if u want to get into their personalities and its really funny! but they filmed this during mingis hiatus so unfortunately he wont be in it.

I like the way that you pay attention to the lyrics! So many reviewers do not! Ateez started in 2018 and have a vast discography with songs of various genre. Their music videos are first rate! They have some fantastic B side songs that deserve a MV! My favorite songs are Cyberpunk, Deja Vu, Answer, Horizon, and Inception. If you like City Pop or Jazz Synthwave, you will love "Take Me Home". If you like beautiful vocals, you will like "Turbulence" and "Utopia". If you like a hip-hop/rock mix, you will like "Guerrilla". If you like a mix of genres, you will like "Halazia". Their early songs: Hala Hala, Say My Name, Promise, Stay, and Wonderland are all bangers too!

First time seeing your reaction channel and you are in for a TREAT with Ateez! These guys have some of the best music in kpop but they are from a small company so a lot of people have been sleeping on them. Anywho, I'm not exaggerating when I say they have one of the most versatile and interesting discographies that I've heard. I call them musical chameleons because they can pretty much pull off anything. Their vocalists are super talented and their rappers (Hongjoong & Mingi) are very unique and instantly recognizable. Also, their producers are exceptionally skilled and know how to experiment with sounds, beats, drops, rhythms, etc in a way that showcases their talent beautifully. These are some of the elements that make their music so distinct and, in my opinion, so good. I have to warn you though. This group is highly unpredictable. And by that, I mean, they do not play it safe and never do what you think or expect they are going to do from one song to another so please keep that in mind as you delve into their music or you might get whiplash! Not sure if this will even make sense to you but the emerald joke was a reference to the game league of legends which a lot of them play! Emerald is one of the competitive ranks in league (between platinum and diamond). San was making this joke to jongho because emerald is jongho's rank in league and they were talking about the bullets he was shooting in MV

Side note, the one you mentioned having a good voice is Jongho, their maknae and main vocalist! He's actually the reason I got into ateez last september. A lot of people think he's just super serious but he's actually quite cute and silly so I always hope people can love him more 🥺

I'm sure the other members are great too but this boy I just knew he'd have a killer voice and his tone just stood out for me. I think for me the vocals matter most, at first, then you end up loving them if they have a great personality to go with it... whether it's their humor, kidness, etc, whatever matters to you the most I guess. Crazy Form is fun for sure, but I'd suggest checking out Guerrilla, Hala Hala, Wonderland, Answer, Say My Name, Halazia and Bouncy for some of their amazing videos. For just sound, The Leaders, To The Beat, Promise, Utopia, The Ring, Dune, and Django are interesting. Treasure, Firworks, and Pirate King are also fun for both the song and seeing their early videos. 9:00 they are known as the Kings of the last 30 seconds. They almost always go HARD.

This songs are definitely tear jerkers and showcase ever members vocals beautifully. Ateez have no doubt the beast ballads I’ve heard in a group before.
