Wheein does some "Dance Covers" of other performers songs... if you're interested lol My KPop Group Trifecta... Mamamoo, BlackPink, and SHINee. SOLOISTS... Hey girl! Missed you. Loved that you reacted to Whee in. I don't think she can make a bad song and appreciate her LGBTQ+ inclusion. Very brave of her in a country where it's still not accepted. Also love her songs "Springtime" and "D-day". Moonbyul has some new songs too...the whole album is good but I really love "Like Fool". Keep up the good work friend! It hit home when you said one of the best girl kpop groups ever...totally agree. My favorites!

Hi! Welcome back! 😊 Thanks for another great reaction. Wheein is Ms Perfect and everything she does is very intentional. The breath work is amazing and honestly like you said, it comes from a great deal of work on her craft. She has a huge body of solo work so you definitely have a lot to catch up on. It was absolutely amazing to see her live, what a treat 🥰 Fun fact: there’s a cool surprise video (hopefully it hasn’t been spoiled for you yet) when you get through the following 8 solos: Solar - Spit It Out, Honey Byul - Eclipse, Lunatic Wheein - Water Color, Make Me Happy Hwasa - Twit, Maria I won’t say anymore for now but hope this serves as motivation lol 😆

There’s also extra behind the scenes content of the “planning and practicing” phase which are hilarious. Also, I forgot to mention, Mamamoo’s 10-yr anniversary was last month so they released a special video of them just hanging out. Worth checking out for the laughs and feels.

Goodbye is a very confusing video. What going on is that an art student has fallen in love with her female art teacher. It's not clear how mutual it is. She breaks into the teachers house and pretends that that they are a couple. Fixing dinner for the two of them. Throwing away the teacher's male lover's stuff (specifically male coded like the shaving brush). Pretending to dance with her using the clothing dummy, etc. They arrive home and she flees. While the plot is creepy, this is beloved by the Korean LGBTQ+ community for it's depiction of same sex love. Water Color is my favorite Wheein song. The extend metaphor of a water color painting in the lyrics is so genius for describing Wheein, and everyingthing else is perfect.

Maybe the student was obsessed with the professor and there was never anything between them. Maybe she confessed her love and the art professor turned her down. Actually, I think the affair makes the most sense in combination with the song lyrics.

I watched the video and lol, was I so wrong. Hahaha. It all makes sense now. Of course, not being used to same sex love isn't something that is depicted much in kpop and although it crossed my mind, I dismissed it immediately because of that reason too. Thanks for the intro to the channel, I recognized a kpop reactor who was featured on one of the episodes I saw.

@@tdragonreactions well, queer baiting is a thing in Kpop for years, but there are not a lot of groups or soloists whom are actually representing the community for real like Mamamoo, Chungha, Seori and some others. Most of them don't want to do it openly, like Moonbyul's Shutdown or Solar's COLORS MV, for example, because it can hurt their image.

@@tdragonreactions I mean, not the only KZbinr, but the only one whom I follow, and there's a LOT.😅 Some of them are MMM fans too. Sadly, the only member who has big numbers is Hwasa, then Solar. Wheein and Byul are the most underrated members. Thankfully, these women only care about the art they do, not the views. They're better on Korean platforms as a group, but being a Kpop soloists is hard in general, because Kpop is all about groups.

She doesn't get the popularity she deserves because she doesn't do the things that grabs your attention immediately in this short attention span world we live in. It comes slowly and you realize wow she is a true talent over time and then you start to appreciate her artistry.

@@tdragonreactions Wheein is a flute, Solar is a trumpet, Hwasa is a saxophone, and Moonbyul is an oboe. As for the Goodbye MV she is subverting expectations. You think she is coming home and packing up her ex boyfriend’s stuff but she is actually breaking into her GIRLFRIEND’S home and vandalizing the new boyfriend’s stuff she probably just got dumped for. FYI Jungkey is a producer that featured both Wheein and Solar in some of his songs because he writes songs that are vocally demanding so he needs top notch vocalists to sing them. You can check out “Anymore” with Wheein (I personally like more than Goodbye) and Image (5:52am) with Solar.

Yes agian LoL Solar ventured into musical theater in the musical Mata Hari for its 2022 production on May 28, 2022, marking her first role as a musical actress. -The musical ran from May 28 to August 15, 2022. Her performance as Mata Hari received critically acclaimed reviews, highlighting her fresh take on the character, which emphasized the human side of Mata Hari who had a lot of scars -Solar was caste, earier this year, for the musical ‘Notre Dame De Paris’ The Korean Version. They debuted in 2014, I'll be checking to see if you did an anniversery reaction LoL Mamamoo is the REASON there IS a "Killing Voice", they were the FIRST. And it's one of the reasons it's so short. Before them it was The "Killing Verse" and featured ONLY Rappers. Speciffically "The Killing Voice" exists because of Solar. SOLAR(w/Mamamoo) wanted to join 'Killing verse' but WASN'T accepted. So Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and Called MAMAMOO. Their video currently has the most Killing Voice views... we need a second one. LOL

it makes me so happy to see people get a chance to listen to Bigbang's music from their early years! I know it's easy for people to get caught up in new stuff, but I've been enjoying listening to older kpop from the late 2000s-early 2010s. Music was really good! I really enjoyed this video!!

@@tdragonreactions no reason to hate! There is ALOT of new music that has released currently, and its all different. Most can be hit or miss, but I havent been a person to really follow mainstream. I like what I like! I branched off to other groups little by little, but I solely listened to Bigbang and 2NE1, and maybe another group here or there. It's not a bad thing....their music is JUST SO GOOD!!

I've had Tablo's version of Eyes Nose Lips on my playlist for a few years. So good. But then I'm a huge Tablo/Epik High fan. I highly recommend all of their music, but if you want to check out more Tablo/Taeyang, try "Tomorrow" and "Rich" (Taeyang & Epik High)... Still waiting for your reaction to "Fear" -- Minho's collab with Taeyang ( the mv is probably the best one to watch), I know you'll love it. ❤❤
