@bobby2tokes After reading your post, i must ask where did the last 20 years go for some of us? This tune and Staxx-Joy, Orbital-Belfast, so great for an outdoor party. If you were part of the massive rave scene like I was, wow, what took place was amazing. i am from SF and its gone, just clubs now. I am going back to 1992-1995. An element crept in and took over. I guess I would feel awkward too to be in a club where all others are my age 20 years ago. Feels weird to even think of.

I know that feeling - It's so annoying. there's always that version of a certain song that is far superior to that watered down "one" that keeps showing up on CDs and websites and yet you spend like 10 + years looking for traces that it even exists...

I've also been searching for the track the flute was sampled from for years. I definitely remember (from the early 90's) a purely instrumental trance track that featured that flute melody, I've never heard it since then and don't know the artist.
@cameronsaunders51707 жыл бұрын
It was from a Terry OIdfield ambient music CD called Reverence - there were four different samples from different parts of the CD we pulled together. Terry Oldfield is Mike Oldfield's brother!

@gotahavehouse honestly Gaga isn't a very good example of the current taste anymore - Her newest stuff is mostly a re-hash of retro club sounds - not really "house" but very similar to the 80s Belgian techno sound or 90s eurodance stuff - which is probably why she it isn't charting so high anymore ....Katy Perry is more what you're thinking of.
