Another fine Thursday update Mike. Love the awesome shipment of Speaker's Corner titles. They do sound fantastic.

I love the channel and all of the videos that are put out. I’ve been looking for the Black Sabbath for awhile now, and I purchased it along with Paul McCartney’s ‘Ram’ and the Toto IV. I’m keeping fingers crossed that you’ll eventually receive ‘Heaven and Hell’ as that’s been a challenge to get. I’m also very happy and appreciative with the service that’s been provided.

Bernie Grundman, Chris Bellman, Steve Hoffman, and Pallas? Holy crap. Isn't that the holy grail? All they needed was Kevin Gray to blow on it and that record would be floating in air. Those guys can make cats clawing on a chalkboard sound amazing. Wish they would work on the Rolling Stone records. I would pay $100 for that no matter what color the vinyl was.

because of your advertising I bought recently a duke ellington album of this tone poet series. fantastic glossy cover, nice innersleeve and a beautiful scratch on the last track of the album... now I am waiting for my replacement... edit: it came today and the vinyl is really nice! great mastering by Kevin Gray ! sounds like a flat tape transfer which is great.

Mike, Katanga is a sleeper! I have an original. It has the legendary Dupree Bolton on trumpet with Curtis Amy, Dupree was also on Harold Land's The Fox on hi-fi jazz. Bolton was an incredible trumpeter much like Clifford Brown. Unfortunatly he had a drug arrest and was in and out of prison. He dissapeared in san francisco and was seen playing on the streets. A great album!!..i will pick up on this tone poet release!

At the 8:50 mark u feature the Max Roach Trio, and I just released my teaser John Coltrane video. And you are in it because of this lp because Haasan influenced Trane.

Mike, when I saw the Ram record, the first thing that came to my mind was that it would be great if you did a "shoot-out" video or an overview on Abbey Road Half Speed pressings. The general consensus seems to be that they are a mess. I think you can uniquely set the record straight on that!

That would be Interesting to know as I was about to purchase John Martyn - solid air Abbey Road half speed cut?!

Mike, I have heard that Ornette Coleman was pressed backwards. What I mean is that the label that says side A has the music of side B, and viceversa. Could you please report back when you listen to it? Thanks.

You missed a new release, Colin Hay - Going Somewhere. It is the first time on vinyl and a limited edition. Limited to 1000 white copies and is an underrated album.
