by "reasonable" I assume you mean BiS? I have "reasonable" gear and currently at 240% with my main class slayer and I tried DQ3 out of curiosity. besides being one shotted as I learned the patterns it was doable. the problem is time. you need to get S rank or farming will get old real quick. suffice to say I made all the DQ gear after that which helped me clear it on average under 2mins.

@@blastu99 : I'd expect that to be enough to clear without duel gear. I'm at 229 and expect to be able to possibly S rank Zeph with that. It wasn't hard to do with the last duel quest, and we didn't have EX augs yet.

All my classes are at lv90. Ima definitely save that 100mil exp ticket for in case a new class shows itself! I do wonder if/when they will add new ranks to Yellows, or if we will start to see brand new Yellows entirely?

I'll be using all the tickets to overlevel and get Excubes; as I am out! I doubt it. With boosts, you can get atleast 1.5million per Stia run.

That 100M exp ticket is only for new and returning players.

@@Sodisna I just got it. It's character specific. If you have a spare slot, create a new character and skip to chapter one which will get you to level 18. then do a couple of story quests to get to level 20 and wabam. check your inventory. I just moved it to main account storage. i'll let someone else try to "use" it.

definitely gonna be saving that exp ticket for a rainy day. it's pretty trivial to level up so i'd only use it if i needed it on a new character or a brand new class.

I plan to make a character on another server for the casino campaign. I think I will level them up to 20 and claim the boost ticket on an alt since all of my classes are 80+. I'm just going to make the same one on each server because I like my character and class and name.

and because of that I kitted most my gear with gladia souls. 10x cap each augment equip too to beat rng%. should have saved them, I'd have ~40 now.

I was thinking that. highly likely they will give maxed enhanced weapons (wingards would be hilarious) like last time but what about armors? probably a good idea to max out some armor.

just did 3 pieces of armors, finished seconds before maintenance shutdown. costs millions and heap of resources. oof. imagine without the boosters and discounts!? had to sell a glan gigas to make money back. oh well glan gladias here we come.

If your regular gear is solid, you can bide your time and get all the duel augments cheap while running the quest normally. I may use the free +90 units they handed out to make Duel p.05 gear. Dunno which weapon will be preferable yet though. New event weapon will be a cheap option, but Eredim's also real nice and has cheap fixas available.

I always use free gear or outdated gear for duel quests and I NEVER max out the gear. I slap the DQ specific augments on and that's it.

@@theoaremevano3227 the DQ5 caps will probably be in the anniversary store like last time? The cost comes from limit breaking, resources and enhancement. I didn't buy anything accept for a few hundred strugments so I could craft more arms refiners which I went through a few hundred. All that was to get 3 peices of armor only to +81. Didn't even do a weapon. I have a bunch of maxed out eridems and all the +90 weapons for every class they gave for free not long ago. I suspect they will also give out more free +90 weapons in the anniversary store like last time.
