this is so similar to the palette that Hourglass released a few years ago. Their cream palette was a trio (bronzer, blush and highlight) and I hit pan on all three colors! I think the fourth color was added in by Auric to not be completely identical to Hourglass.

I loved that! To me I think this light palette reads a lot more neutral and that one pulled warm on me, but definitely the same idea. I feel like the formula was way more creamy too and this seems more thin and buildable but maybe that's because I haven't dug into the product a lot (plus mixing the balm would make it more creamy but I'm liking the semi matte vibes without it).

I'd love to see the medium. I bought the light and love it so far on my light skin, but it seems like I might be able to do the medium in the summer for some warmth? I don't buy much makeup lately but a face palette is my weakness.

I have tried Auric Glow Lust and the original lip balm. To me the products I’ve tried are just fine but nothing particularly special except the packaging. The Auric packaging is very luxe and beautiful right down to the thick obviously luxurious outer cartons. I love beautiful packaging, but I have oily skin and I don’t find that Auric face/eye products tend to work best with oily skin. I know Sam has dry skin, so it makes sense she’d make products that tend that way. (Isn’t that the dream? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to have a brand and make every product you love and can’t find on the market and put it in gorgeous packaging??!!) If I were spending this price for a cream face palette, I’d want a formula I knew would work well for me. I’d buy one of the Makeup Forever palettes and get more shades. I also really like Salt New York creams. Their shades are incredible, the formulas are great, and the prices are much better. They even have mixing shades to buy to alter shades if you wish. That said, even though the palette is not for me, this palette looked very, very pretty on you, and was very subtle looking. I can totally see why it will be at the top of many people’s holiday wish list! Edited to add: I have given the Auric lip balm as gifts many times. It’s such a luxurious presentation. It’s great for gift giving!

I was waving to you via my phone lol. I love it I was shocked I loved it so much. It got me excited for a product. When I scooped some out it was too dark I had to tone it down lol. So you can get more pigment from it. Supposedly she is gonna do refills. Idk how long that will take. I’d love to see the medium shades too.

U didn't mention that u can take the shades out and add shades from the other pallets to make your own or soon buy seperate shades to add as well as take all of them out and make your own magnetic Z pallet or take stuff out and add the bronzer blush highlight and a few magetic backed shadows to make a full face pallet with magnetic eyeshadows like the DMyricke eyeshadow pans ,viseart or Natasha Denona shadows. I am gonna get the med pallet . 😊

I have purchased two things from this company. I received a used item, and the lip product arrived without the jade spatula. Received the spatula a week later in a baggie. The lip product is okay but not worth the high price tag. Would not buy from this company again.

With all due respect to Auric that is too expensive for an indie brand that copies what luxury brands have done. Her products are not innovative. That palette looks just like the Hourglass face palette. Her eyeshadows were copied from Tom Ford Cream eyeshadows and her glow lust highlighter is just a reboot of the Marc Jacob’s beauty highlighter. Her prices reflect Luxury but for an indie brand no thanks. I would rather spent the $80 towards the Celine lipstick. I think that the Auric brand is for fans of the Samantha.

I personally don’t look at it as an indie brand, but as a small luxury brand (i.a.w. With less funding) and since the hourglass palette isn’t available anymore, these palettes are very welcome in my opinion. I do think the price is right for what you get; the packaging, formula etc. are top tier and more expensive to make (especially in comparison to what you usually get when it comes to indie brands). So I wouldn’t slot Auric in with indie, but with luxury. Just how I feel, to each their own 😊
