New Austin Animals/Skins for Arthur - off the map method

You can glitch off the map and "hunt" New Austin animals as Arthur..he deserves nice things too!
You can find almost all New Austin animals spawning off the map. They just stand there, study, kill and skin them.
Forgive my subpar editing skills. I was trying to just capture the highlights and string them together.

Were you able to find the Californian horned owl off the map? If so, where? If not, where can i find one as Arthur?

Yes, but I was too slow to study it. If you pass out/glitch off the map in the afternoon, you will spawn outside the map at twilight/nighttime. That's when they are out, head south along the edge and you see one as you approach the area above tall trees above Aurora Basin

If that fails- take a bounty into tall trees (pinkertons don't spawn if you have one on your horseback) and go at night and study/hunt/pluck one then! :)

​@@WstsdgrlThank you for replying. I'll keep trying this and use the method you suggested. I was able to get all the new austin animals as Arthur while off the map. Had run into the sniper zone for the Rio grand turkey haha

​@@Wstsdgrl I tried this with benedict allbright and only the great and coastal horned owls spawned. Any specific location you recommend.

@@signintoconfirm5175 I am going to go looking again so I can study it. I will share when I find it again using either a bounty or off the map. I am thinking Bear Claw in tall trees always spawned one when I played the epilogue. The one off the map was always just far away enough so I could not study it! ugh
