Actually, in the band's Discord, Shadows said the song Higher from The Stage is a "heavy metal Kanye song" lol.

I am a fan of Avenged Sevenfold but I have to be quite honest The Stage album isn’t a good album that they dropped. Hearing the fact that Avenged Sevenfold is heavy inspired Kanye Album is scary. Kanye is just Kanye and he is just meh. I’ll still listen to the album but I’m not to heavily excited for it since it is inspired by Kanye 🤦‍♂️
