Downstairs. Next to the cafe. They were goodwind/velair pebble mini installed & branded by initial as initial luna dry

I don't know. The platform lift is still there but when I was last here most people were using the main lift no one was using the platform lift I didn't use it either. This lift took a while to install but that's probably because UKES never came out on time to install & probably missed a few appointments.

I don't know. It's not that bad imo. But you can choose to have Vega parts when you get an Axel. But the voice is no longer safeline on this lift.

Vega’s chime is AWFUL! Vega’s doorbell type chime is better! The chime used on this lift is up there with Gruppo Millepiani’s chime.

2023 (last year) it was built, this lift was completed earlier this year 2024. This store (Chelmsford high Street) opened in December 2023. This lift replaced 2x Kone mod lifts one Evans mod Kone & one Kone novel mod Kone both of them lifts were next to each other but not a set when this store was Debenhams. When the range moved in they completely demolish the 2 Kone mod lifts and replaced with this Axel/Vega (UKES) lift. There is also a platform lift located near the back of the store. When this store opened the platform lift was the only lift available as this one was still being built and boarded up

Axel have really gone downhill in my opinion. This lift isn't great, the voice in particular.

It's not that bad imo. I accept your opinion. Safeline voice is no longer used as I can see on this lift. Some of the cheap elex lifts in mcds use this voice.

I accept your opinion as everyone is entitled to their own opinion, they are pretty cheap i agree but the range always seem to install these. The range have a contract with uk elevator services for lift installation and maintenance

​​@@bobbyshanddryersliftsandes9731 yes. They also installed Axel's after they installed electra vitoria lifts. Horizon went bankrupt in 2019. But the range & Dunelm started their contract with UKES in 2017 as horizon was losing money. Around 90s early 00s I think the range had a contract with UK lift. The range in Romford has a UK lift (Oakland VH range ins UK lift) but that store used to be an alders (I don't really know much about the store being an alders as I was really young at that time & I wasn't around)

It has Vega parts and a few axel parts this lift is alright imo. But Axel's are cheap. Especially Vega parts.

@@345berry yes I’ve been in one in Southampton like this before and it was much slower than this lift but the lift I was talking about has a fake Otis indicator which is the one In Southampton and the lift I was saying it was tiny.
