I still have that first SCX10 up and running, but this sure is something to look at... might even get me back to RC hobby with this. Perhaps I'll try to make my wife buy this to her so she can drive it, while I use my old faithful ver.1 :D

Glad to see Axial step up - I have always been interested in scale as opposed to performance. Gives us another option! The performance compromise due to weight is fine with me. I can have just as much fun trying to get up a 30 degree slope as a 45, it has always been about "the puzzle" for me. Besides, this is much closer to realistic in both appearance and performance than some of axial's previous models. I will be seriously considering this model for my next rig.

If you remember the SCX10ii launch, they had a private 50 person owners party at Casey Currie's shop - where they unveiled the SCX10ii. Axial had a similar event scheduled, and sold 50 tickets, but canceled (likely because of Covid19) - We just got the covert video posted at midnight last Wednesday/Thursday

I like that it makes it adjustable, but it was hard to install - you have the side panels going into 2 frame rails, going into the skid plate. It was a tough install

Ok, gotta admit, after watching Richie's (Driftomaniacs) video, I already looked it, but "promised" myself I would buy this, at least until I finish all the other projects I'm currently working on, as well as the TF2 I haven't even started. Do you have to have the dig or 2speed or can you just leave it out

I built the trans last night and as far as I can see you have to build everything. If you choose to not want a certain feature (dig or 2 speed) you have to add a spacer as to not engage the "shift" of the item into other functions. I opted to not want the 2 Speed, so by adding the spacer, my truck will be in 1st gear all of the time

I have never built brushless before I have an axe 1800kvwill that be enough if not what t 540 should I get with my 1080 to give it the power help please I want to build this thing like now lol

Typically on brushed motors, most scalers run a 35t - 45t (45t will give you more torque) vs. top end speed. 35t will give you a good walking pace behind your scaler. Be careful on new technology like different "slot" motors, as they use a different turn rating

In RC, a "Kit" is referred to as a builders kit and usually does not include electronics, some other items and you do have to build it your self - that's how the hobby started. RTR or "Ready to Run" is an item that is either ready to run, or almost ready to run - completely assembled RC in the box, "ready to run" Some RTR's do not include a battery or charger, where some can. Things like these questions have made my channel possible because people are always asking "what's included"

I'll cover in the Build Review, but there's an option in the transmission to run it with non-portal axles. You do have to purchase additional gearing to make it happen though

I have a trx4 kit built up tuff I'll trade for a brushless system and esc the trx4 also has deadlocks and traxxs new for 200$ and will trade all just jor brushless system and esc
