I think the fast q has a shorter range than the charged ones? We're probably not that familiar with just how much the range is while Baus knows exactly how much it is from all the Sion hours

@@yeetdeets I just rewatched the video and there was barely anything the team could do, he died before objective was up, got catched toplane just before syndra could do anything mid so she had to leave because they would just rotate down. He then ults in and dies to belveth just before drake is up. Baus is a great player but this wasn't his best game, and while yes the team could have played some stuff better they really didn't just throw completly.

Better and safer option might have been to push wave and getting some platings before 14 min mark, possibly also splitting the enemy team up, making picks easier (he may very well win a 2v1 at this point for example). But he also loses the advantage of surprise as they can see him. The fight would have happened either way as they would simply rotate after drake. 6:32 - Bad. Goof. 7:08 - Goodish. Team gets drake. 8:07 - Bad. Outplayed. 8:55 - Very bad. Caught - lost the drake. 9:30 - Good. Traded one for one (their biggest carry too) and got an inhib tower. Team kills Lucian and later both junglers die, but they lose baron. 10:14 - Bad. Outplayed. 10:42 - Neutral (but team fails to execute). Dies 2v1, team is ready to engage other team 4v3. Team trades one for one ten seconds later. 11:39 - Goodish. Dies 2v1 but gets an inhib tower. Does give team the opportunity to push out lanes, giving them gold (which they do). 12:17 - Good. Team had died in a 4v5 fight at baron. Open nexus. Either he tries to defend in base with graves, or he tries to 1v9 with a surprise attack. He chose the latter, and it was a good choice. The hail-Mary failed. Tally: 3 Good, 2 Goodish, 2 Neutral, 3 Bad, 1 Very bad deaths IMO. Team failed to execute on 2 deaths IMO. 9:30 and 10:42. Overall Bel'veth and Viktor played well. Clearly team gap. When you say he died before objective was up, you forget towers and nexus are objectives which are up by default. In my initial comment I wrote "they are obviously clueless on how to utilize a strong splitpusher". I meant that you group up in the lane on the lane on the opposite side of the map, and push. Either the splitpusher kills 1v1, kills the base, or you get a 4v3/4v2 fight for free. If the push gets sandbagged a lot, you rotate back to drake/baron.

The baus is one of my favorite streamers to watch, and no doubt he is a great player on multiple champions. With that being said, I would absolutely hate having him on my team. His style is an incredibly selfish one where he sacrifices making the enemy team stronger while making himself even more stronger. It is incredibly entertaining as a viewer, but you are forced to play one way on his team: Baus ints and makes the enemy team strong AF, but also picks up waves, plates, and towers for his deaths. He then splits with all that gold and can reliably carry through the split. Meanwhile, if you are the other four you are rendered to doing absolutely nothing until two or three reveal themselves to stop the baus split. If you cared a little about having fun and feeling like you contributed to the win, this would be so boring and unrewarding to play with. If you are transactional and only care about winning, then, well, Baus is usually challenger or grandmaster, so he does a lot of winning.

Still feel like selling boots is always a mistake. You basically get kited to hell every time and deal a fraction of the damage you could with them. There is an argument to be made for selling boots when you know you go for a backdoor, especially on Sion who can close the distance between inhib and nexus with ult. But then I wouldn't replace boots with an IE or Scimitar, but with raw attack speed and AD. Arguably the best thing to do with excess gold in the end game would be to rethink the choice of boots (mercs or swiftness depending on the type of CC), and to just buy flasks.
