That one with the yellow tail looks like she is going to deliver by tonight or tomorrow.

I was going to ask about Plecos as well. If you love breeding and haven't done plecos you would probably love Bristlenose Plecos. If you aren't familiar you buy a little cave and the male cleans the cave, then chases the female in and has her lay eggs that he fertilizes. I've done Guppies and Plecos and personally find the Pleco breeding more interesting. Instead of just "oh she's pregnant oh there are babies" You are checking the cave with a flashlight trying to see those glowing little dragonballs. They also have a much higher survival rate because the bristles on his nose are like spread out fingers on a stopsign for the newborns like "no idiots stay in here". They don't have to be fed while they actually finish digesting the "yolk sack" after they've already started swimming around. Their max size is about 4" so they aren't those monsters you hear about newbies getting deceived into buying. Some people also think of plecos as boring black fish, but there are beautiful yellow "Lemons" or blood orangey "Super Reds" and longfin varieties of them are stunning. A trio of either specialty strain is usually only like $35 and shipping so nothing crazy. They also basically refuse to eat anything they identify as alive so they're a great "profit tank" partner for guppies because the fry are safe. (I recently learned Cories are a threat to guppy fry. I wasn't aware)

I've been breeding them for a while but just lost my male. I'm hoping that he is selling some so I can start breeding some more little ones and start messing with some different strains.

@@austinoleksak6121 I know the feeling. I lost my female LF lemon, and the chocolate alphamale hogged the cave so I didnt have many lemon babies. I had a couple but it's not a profit tank it's a community tank, and Lemon is bad camouflage, everytime there were baby lemons they were eaten by the rainbowfish 😔. I think I did get some LF chocolates growing towards adulthood which is neat because my chocolate male is not longfin so these are "new" for me 😅.

@@xEricC1001x nice, I've been doing just the plecos in the tank to get as many babies as I can. I have been growing out a calico plecos for a while and she is almost to breeding size and recalling what to know what the babies from her will turn out to be. Just need a good male to pair with her and one for my albino female

@@austinoleksak6121 I've heard rumors they are more comfortable with ditherfish above like if they never see anything they think everyone else is hiding from a predator. Probably not much science to it but I would assume if ditherfish make them more comfortable theyll breed easier once you get your male.
