@5029tom You can use a screwdriver to push them apart or use a magnet with forces them apart. You can also lift the train off the track.

37s tended to haul shorter rakes of mk2s often for local services. In the 1980s it was common to see one with 4 to 6 mk2s. The formation of these trains varied quite a bit. A typical rake would consist of one brake second or brake first if first class was required and about 4 or 5 tourist second open coaches. The brake coach would generally be at the front, back or in the middle.

@EverardJunction i think it would aswell.im looking at getting the ews 66.i very nearly got the new class 70 today but i think i may wait a while tho.
@EverardJunction14 жыл бұрын
@zaccee1996 Usually I put a thin piece of platicard above or below the kadee, this pushes it up or down a little bit and fixes most issues. So far I have not bought any stock that is completely the wrong height, some of it just needs slight adjustments.
@bloodmarine7714 жыл бұрын
that is a well nice 37 mate.ive been looking at buying that.im off to snetterton model shop in the morning so i may bring back a new loco,maybe the 37 or 66.
@EverardJunction14 жыл бұрын
@MrJezza31 You can lift the train straight out or use a magnet that sits under the track or between the rails.

@EverardJunction14 жыл бұрын
@gower2880 Yeah, I know what you mean. The heljan one is really hard to find now and the bachmann modelzone one was just too expensive. I hope a new one at a reasonable price is released one day.

Ah! so you have to remove that plug first - thank you. Most helpful. Just got the new 37 in Green, but it's damaged so it'll have to go back unfortunately. Didn't check the doors though, but will in the morning!

the cab lights? they are dim and look the correct brightness. My coal sector 37 (relatively new) has white LED's in the cab and look awful as they are super bright. have Bachmann altered this?

I see you have the newer model of bachmann class 37 the older ones dont include opening doors nor a 21 pin connector. The older ones are only 8 pin decoders. Cheers nice video. Like the loco ! i love 37s and i love bachmann

Your video was very helpful, as I just purchased nine Bachmann locos, all at a special price, minus decoders. My other purchases, DCC only/with sound. Where did you get your Kadee couplings? If too expensive here, will purchase in the States, when I am back there in two weeks.

I’ve just bought one, it says oil every 24hrs of running. I use it for a few hours every day so I’d end up oiling it every week, Is the 24hrs oiling interval justified or overkill?
@EverardJunction4 жыл бұрын
Its overkill. I have models that have not been oiled for months or years and they see plenty of use. They still work fine. As a general rule oil it if you can hear it making more noise than it usually does. Cheers

Hello, your class 37 is a lovely loco, however, I bet you won't be able to oil the gear train without having to take the whole model apart. I tried pointing this problem out to bachmann ages ago and they didn't want to know. It seems from your video they're STILL making these models as a sealed unit, so what happens when the oil or grease dries out and the model needs some more? Paul.
