I always tie on a leader when in pike or snakehead waters. I know it impacts the lures action but it beats leaving a bait in a fish's mouth.

Hmm … Mega Bass had came out with a similar bait last year ? I like the rattle idea and I’m pretty sure you said there is a 3 1/2” 1/2 oz size . That would be ideal for the waters I fish. But I’m not much of a soft plastic guy though .. Once a year around spawn . That would have been cool if you could have landed that Pike ? Thanks for posting this video today .

I looked up the clatter craw at Tackle Warehouse before I watched the video. At $10 for two I was pretty skeptical. You showed that they are pretty good, holding up well. Even better, I don't have to worry about Pike here in Oklahoma. I have a friend who's looking for a craw with orange claws and that's what the green pumpkin orange version has. 😁 I like craws where the claws float up. Do these claws float up with that rattle in them?

Another craw bait and yes it's unique, looks cool, and will catch fish, however, at 5 bucks ea. how long will it last? Not long as it's not the durable stretchy plastic, which it most certainly should be considering it's a weedguarded bait. Also, only 1/2 oz. is odd.

Hey Matt, I got a few of the Core swim jigs. I notice the 2/0 version has the exact size weed guard/wire as the 4/0. It almost feels like it's too much/too big/too stiff for the 2/0. Like it may hurt the hookup ratio. Just curious why they're the same size.
@MattStefanFishing4 ай бұрын
Left it the same size so it could be altered easily. I remove it completely half the time i use the 2/0 size
