In this video I discuss the materials and design of another great New Balance running sneaker. The 2002R features ABZORB in the midsole and ABZORB SBS in the heel for cushioning. Nice review man, definitely sold me! I know you said they don't fit as big as some other NB models, but do they still fit big? Trying to figure out if I'm better off going TTS or going a half size down. I'm a size 10 in Nike's and have gotten 9.5s in the past for some NB's, for reference.

The 2002R is for sure a great sneaker and definitely one to start with. But if you want a better “pound for pound” sneaker, then the 990v5 is the one. IMO.

Overall the quality is great, it’s just the suede is not as nice as in a made in USA. NB had a 10% discount the day I bought them.

2002R is very consistent with sizing so if the black figs feel snug then consider going up a half a size.
