These are budget king for leather boots, I gave my pair to a teammate who has super wide feet, he loved it.

They’re really nice but they’re almost TOO comfortable if you know what I mean. Feels like it’s a little harder to generate power when wearing these because of how much space my toes have

They really are fantastic. I'm also a wide footed player but was surprised that I'm able to wear the regular variation. To the point that they're the only boots I have that accommodate my big huge ankle brace for when I'm coming back from injury. Super lightweight, slightly padded feel, and good for AG are all W's.

do you regularly play on ag? i just ordered tons of new balance boots to finally find anything that is able to accomodate my wide feet. in most boots over a third of my foot is just hanging in the air instead of being on the sole. Sadly i cant find the 442s in an ag version, so this one is allright for ag? :)
@1771soccerstar5 ай бұрын
@@neb6304 oh ya these are definitely totally fine for ag. They've got all conical studs so that's definitely the safest configuration. I play with my mine on ag all the time.

The Copa Mundials main issue has always been sole separation from the toe box. Yours have them already. I find amazing Adidas never tried to fix that, every pair of Copas I had myself or any of my friends just get quick sole separation and if you play in AG they get filled with rubber making it super annoying and even dirty when you back into the locker or home. I don't think the Copa's are that good. Plenty of amazing leather option for all kinds of feet, specially from Mizuno

The width of the 442 2E is wayyyy more than the Morelia neo 4! I have both of them although my neo 4 is MIJ so not sure if the width is narrower. The neo 4 is sooo much more narrow and impossible for me to even squeeze in without first removing the insoles

So I am planning to get these, but I am actually confused about the sizing, My feet size 28-28.2cm. I got them in 9.5UK and 10UK and I found too much empty space at the top of toebox in the UK10 but the UK9.5 feels too tight. Do you think the UK9.5 will stretch out enough so that my toes get more space in the boot?

Dude nice video, i found you searching for this boot. I have the adidas Copa pure 1 and my god i regret spending so much money on them. i read the NB as wider boots than any other brands, so i was intrigued with this ones. they are quite ruff for 3 months use. the only question i have is, how many times a week do you play/train? i´m trying to look aside, but these beauties keep shinning on me 😆

Please respond to this comment! I have a pair of Umbro Speciali III from 2013 (it's one of the last pairs John Terry wore when he use to wear Umbro). They have K-leather through the toe box and have a good tongue with some sort of gel pillow thing, which makes the boot super comfortable. Is the 442 anything like an Umbro Speciali 3 or would a Mizuno model be better? This Umbro pair i have is super padded, so I'm looking for a padded feel. I bought the Adler boots but they're actually thinner than I thought they'd be.

These gave me nasty blisters just after 20 minutes. They just ripped my skin on both feet in the same area - left and right side of achilles where side heel padding is located. I've tried 3 pairs because I thought it's some kind of manufacturing defect but nope, my feet were just not compatible.
@passthe360 Жыл бұрын
how long did you dedicate to breaking them in? my puma futures left me with the worst torn to shreds achilles, i had to blister tape, double sock, more tape, which was cumbersome yes but once broken in about 2 months?3 months? ish later, they haven’t given me a single issue since and are comfortable on feet just with socks. you have to give any boot time to work tbh, i kinda expect it now from new boots and prep right away from first wear
@cnk191 Жыл бұрын
@@passthe360 Damage was so severe that I just returned them. 2 weeks after when my heels were fully healed I ordered second pair same size, tried them on for like 5 mins and I could feel same thing going to happen, so returned them again. Then I tried 3rd pair half size down - same thing. I don't mind small blisters/hot spots when cleats are new but bleeding ankles after 20mins is to much for me to even consider breaking such cleats.
