Washington d.c. is one of the biggest supporters of new balance. We mostly like the 990s but i like the fact tbat everyone always go for the 990s because i leave open the ability to get other models such as the gre 5740

You can rock these in a 9 and you’ll be fine. But if you want a more snug fit then go .5 size down.

No. 574 (at least the classic ones) increase height by 2.9 cm, and 5740 - about 2.7-2.8 cm. Thus, it turns out even a little less than 574.

How's the width of the toebox vs the 574? I found my tts with the 574 too snug and uncomfortable, partly due to my bunions and somewhat wode feet. Also given they both likely have the same foam how's the comfort vs the 327? Nice video!

I feel like the toe box is a bit wider compared to the 574. My 574 in a 10 fits more TTS than these in a 10. The 327 feels very similar.

I'll have this (and the 327 after, the 990v5 grey/castlerock I bought will be sent sometime next month hopefully!) further up in my to buy list than the more hyped shoes for sure. Dont know why but for me this shoe is very uncomfortable. Its like wearing a brick...no flex, mininal cushioning...i ordered true to size and I totally agree that half size down would have been better....even 10min walk feels exhausting....
