Will you please grab a pair of the new balance numeric 480’s from this pack?! (or any NB# 480 high/low’s, cause they are always available and even on sale at times) I’d love others to see a review of the model, a comparison to the regular 480’s and maybe even a comparison to the SB Dunks. They definitely get called NB’s version of the Dunks a lot even though the regular 480’s came out in 1983, but SB did come sooner than NB#. Please and Thank you so much!!

The original 1010 video is what got me interested in the numeric 480 and now I have two pairs. Everything about materials, quality and price point for the 1010 are also true for the 480. Great products.

I have the kawhi 4s in this colorway. Love them. I did have to use a shoe stretcher to widen them. But they are awesome!

These are insanely good to play in, really nice cushion that stops impact but gives you lots of court feel and super stable and grippy sole. If they put a midfoot shank in these they would probably be the best basketball shoes on the market.

Yes, NB Numeric. In the skate world, New Balance is kind of a new player in the industry but they do things so well - from the marketing up to the product. They produce shoes that really aids us skaters well. Asics is also going for the similar route.

QOTD: It's funny watching Chris be genuinely puzzled by the question. NB# is dope in general--great designs, great colorways, wearable. I have the Museum 272s, the Roland/Tiago 808s, and the Coffee & Donuts 480s and I love them all. One thing worth mentioning with NB# is that different models fit differently. I would NOT go up half a size in the 480s (the other skate shoe in this collection) as the toebox is much more spacious. This whole collection is cool. The crossover between skateboarding and basketball is undeniable, even if it's been done before with SB Jordan 4s, Lance Mountain SB Jordan 1s, clearance rack OG Jordan 1s, or whatever else. I might consider picking up a pair of these if I strike out on the Chocolate 480s later this week. Thanks for the review! I'd give two likes for this one if I could. I welcome more NB# and/or NIke SB content especially since both lines have good models and good colorways of late. Peace!

I’ve got 4 pairs of 1010s. Best shoe to skate in, but also just to wear round. I’ve worn them plying bball too and if you like court feel, they hoop.

That's a great looking shoe. Reminds me of the late 90's / early 2000's heyday of skate shoe design. Gum rubber is always a great form and function design choice and a throwback to that same era.

If the black paneling is true suede then the texture is make by using a flame and charring the felted texture of the suede, I don't know how it's called in English but the aspect is just super cool, got a boots with the same effect. Thank you for the video.

I had the same problem with the 550s. Length wise they were perfect, but width was a problem to the point I had to return them. They were literally painful. It's a shame cause I did manage to find my favorite colorway for 49 euros at NB's outlet. Oh well.

The shoes aren't really my taste. But compared to other dedicated skate shoes, they are much better looking IMO. As far as the QOTD, I understand it as if your significant other was represented as a shoe, what would that shoe be? For me my SO would be the AJ 5. My favorite Air Jordan shoe of all time... Though it's certainly not the most comfy shoes I've ever worn, (I so love them for a whole host of reasons) those would be one of my running shoes (that I wear casually). 😁

Had the original tiago lemos in the golden state colorway but the heel got a hole inside super quick

The only NB I can wear is the extra wide options and even then, the toebox still curves in too much at the big toe. My big toe does not curve inward to my other toes so ye all sneakers are difficult but NB really fits worse for me than even nike. The wide boots I got are waterproof and that's the main reason I got them. Goretex collab

Honestly if you’re a “shoe head” and get a “non shoe head” a shoe that should be enough. Sharing your passion/hobbies with someone would be the sigh.
