That dial is very crisp. That close up is miraculous. I don’t own a Baltic yet, but this is has my full attention.

WOW what a dial... I love that microbrands are bringing back aventurine and stone dials to the fray

No heritage tho . That's a problem in my eyes . Yes a lovely watch .

just saw this on Baltic's socials and i like it, the other dials were nice but this red/orange agate dial is something else. reminds me of rolex stone dials!

The red agate is likely to be the most popular choice from what I observed! Though I do like that natural jade too

This design is a hit in my book. Didn't like the original prismics, too busy for me. But these ones are much more simplified which I really like

Another excellent review video David. I love the addition of the close up macro shots. They really do confirm the high quality of this watch for the price point. Baltic have interested me since they started and they continue to release unique and interesting timepieces. I like this watch, although I agree that it may be a little small for my 7.25” wrist. I would also have preferred the strap as I don’t like Milanese mesh bracelets - but I will say this does look one of the best that I’ve seen. I think it’s great that Baltic are doing special limited releases that are available at different locations. I’ll definitely check out their showroom when I’m in London in October. I’ll at least be able to check out their watches in the metal.

I am jealous I am not in a major city where they have a showroom! Do film the experience and share! Thank you for your kind comments as always Dean. I agree with the scale of the watch being small for larger wrists. It does have rather straight lugs that visually help it appear larger-along with the watch being mostly all dial

Apparently, every KZbinr and his dog has received a sample from Baltic for review. That’s good news, as the actual production number is higher than the claimed LE number. Jokes aside, this red one is a stunner and I do agree, looks better on a good leather strap.

Seems like they all received a script to talk about the watch in the same way too lol

Worth dying for this dial color and for the whole watch. But only limited to 200 units. That’s giving me a heart attack. Why baltic? Why not making it a regular timepiece so that every interested person can get it?
@perpetuality2 ай бұрын
This is a great point. It may have to come down to their supply of natural stone dials available-wish they could do what Nivada Grenchen did with the F77 and make the lapis lazuli a regular unlimited production model! One can dream!
@BALTICWatches2 ай бұрын
Hey! Thanks for your feedback. The idea was to do celebrate the showroom with three iteration and it was more logical to do it as LE for that. But maybe later we will release other stones non-limited. But for the moment we focus on these ;) Best, etienne

Other microbrands like Nivada Grenchen, Maen, and arguably Farer etc that i consider in the same league as Baltic seem to be pricing their watches in the same range especially for their limited editions. Is it affordable? That can be argued all day long to much subjectivity as the other brands. The Zelos Nova is almost $900 euro and the Farer Stanhope is about $1000 euro these are the closest comparison with similar movements in my opinion. But only the Zelos is limited and neither do they have a grade 5 titanium case and stone dials. Value is is exactly that-- what one values in said object of desire. Again just my 2 cents here. Thanks for watching

@@perpetuality I agree and good comparisons you made. but to add i do think everything has gotten so expensive now in the microbrand world. You have people charging $600 for a NH35 dive watch... but then again since i don't own a watch company I cant say that it isnt justified, watchmaking has a lot of overhead expenses to cover like marketing, warehousing, logistics, branding and etc... its like you said.. value is subjective

Well, I recently saw watch with Seiko nh35 for €2,500..lol. At the end of the day, Baltic looks well made and priced at the top end so to speak, but way too small, and not for me.
@jeanlefranc38172 ай бұрын
Could be. But given the low number on sale, they will sell like hot cakes.
@perpetuality2 ай бұрын
@@jeanlefranc3817it didn’t take long for the previous Prismic models to be sold out- so it’s likely the case this time too for these stone dials
