Sky's Milena Veselinovic visits Banksy's new artwork in North London. The anonymous street artist painted a green splatter effect behind a cut back tree in Finsbury Park.
Milena talks to a local resident, a Banksy fan and from former Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn to hear their views on his new artwork.

How is no one noticing someone dripping all that green paint don’t people go shopping or go to work?

Go shopping? Go to work? The days of going wherever or whatever are over. People sit in twilit homes before flickering monitors to work, or to watch Netflix when not working, or to order calories from dark kitchens when they want the next snack instalment. If they happened to venture out and pass the unmysterious fraud Banksy while he was defacing somebody's property, they wouldn't notice it from their total absorption in some tiny smartphone screen. And if they did notice, they wouldn't believe it was real, since it was not taking place on that tiny screen. Don't forget that virtual reality has knocked boring reality off its perch.

Isn't it amazing, Banks throws green paint up a wall its OK a masterpiece,then when a chip shop owner paints a union jack on the wall it gets complaints and he's told by the council it doesn't fit the area.

dunno, but it's all prepared and practised beforehand in a warehouse, then it's just a case of spraying it over 1 night, he also has a team to help do it quicker, not just him@@suds3405

@@suds3405it only takes seconds, probably did the green paint with a fire extinguisher then the stencil in a few layers, whole thing could honestly be done in less than 10 if not 5 minutes

I am Banksy and would just like to apologise to everyone for my latest offering. Really sorry everyone - I know this one’s really bad (even by my standards), but I’ve been a bit under the weather recently. Hopefully I’ll come up with something a little less awful soon. Fingers crossed.

So is the local council going to say this should be removed? It looks awful and more like vandalism than anything. Its not like its going to bring in business to the area or make the area more appealing like the mural at the side of the Fish and Chip shop that the council there said should be removed. Banksy is just getting lazy now.

Binky wouldn’t get arrested. He gets permission and gets NDA disclosures signed a lot of his work is also commissioned with NDA agreements as well. He markets his work is criminal activity but it’s all an act.

If the owner remains unknown and does not come forward to identify and prove a removed item as personal property, it is hardly theft.
