I remember playing it in my green Gameboy Colour... I had Silver at the time. I took Cyndaquil as my first starter and after a while, got the other two via trading with my lil sis. Always bring those three wherever I went in the game.

I relate to this very hard but with GSC for me. It was the first gen I ever beat and it has my favorite soundtrack in the franchise along with RSE. The HG/SS remixes are good as well but the originals will always have my heart ❤️

Ecruteak in GSC or HG/SS? I believe Ecruteak has a different theme in the latter, because in the former games, it's identical to Cianwood City's theme.

People mostly remembering the remake as their childhood reminds me of how many kids prob missed the greatest pokemon remake that never happened (gen 4 remake), people now don't want a gen 5 remake because they could mess it up
