Nice! Man it is fun and you dont need to worry about losing characters in the beginning. Its only if they have insane mutations that you can be more worrisome haha. However having amazing mutations also makes things easier

The main skill needs to be max level. Once it's max level and you open a chest it's name changes and it's effect changes

I've been splurging on games lately so much, it's always "oh 5, 10, 15 euros won't hurt anybody"... that is until it amasses into quite ridiculous sums... I played the demo few days ago and I will admit that I have to add another 5 to my pile this month . 😄 I enjoy this one being quite different than the rest currently, the risk/reward factor is very interesting.

This is true. If i pay $5 for 100 games a month that is a lot more money than I have hahaha. Yeah the risk/reward system is good. it makes you think before doing harder content which to me brings a new level of game design

So after this recording I tried a full run on a 0 investment character and I best it. So maybe it gets harder and then you can worry but you can do full runs without investments

Using a hardcore character progression in a bullet hell game is a very bad idea. The game looks good but I dont have that much time to lose a character I tried to build and then build another one.

The only thing you lose out on is mutations though. You need multiple characters anyway as a starting weapon is linked to certain mercenaries Including armors as well which have different stats.
