It's insane to think that vault vehicles weren't highly requested throughout all 3 years of the game's life. I want M98B and G3A3 just like the next guy, but we are getting a fully fleshed out set of vehicles with entirely new gameplay for free and you are mad? I'm not mad. You can't be playing 2042 in 2025 and be mad by getting two vehicles. The problem is, you don't notice a big difference. The UH-60 Black Hawk was forgotten just two days after coming to AOW. Someone said something pretty interesting on X. "They're doing this as an experiment for the next game to be able to deliver better vehicle experience" makes a lot of sense because bringing the vault weapons should be pretty much easier than vault vehicles and yet, they refuse to do that!

@ 2042 has more maps than Bad Company 2 (No, BC2 isn't a spin-off) and about the same number of guns as BF3

@thebigsam BFC2 was a spin off, came out in 2010, and bf3 came out in 2011. 2042 has an absolute abysmal selections of guns and variance between them. You really do not know what you're talking about.

BF3 and 2042 have less guns, but each one of them different and unique. Lying won't make your garbage argument any stronger, you can stop any time

I think the only safe vehicle that would really be interesting if they gave it a rework would be the Tunguska with better armor, passive radar missiles and a slightly more powerful but slower cannon. Why call the Wildcat an anti-air vehicle? Maybe give Crawford the Kornet anti-tank missile as a second option because his fixed minigun is awful.

I think with the addition with IFVs should have been a thing they added at the very beginning. The CAV Brawler was nice but it felt more like a glorified armored transport vehicle that is a faster but weaker version of the MAV than a support vehicle and add a nice new level in the ground vehicle food chain. For example: EBLC Ram being a fast moving recon vehicle with defensive capabilities to assist in tactical positioning of the team based radio beacon so others can parachute into objectives. Bradley/BMP being used for assault situations with it's driver controlled turret and use of guided missiles if you want to assist in countering other transport vehicles or aircraft with a competent recon using SOFLAM or a Dart Gun (which is as a rare as a medic reviving). MBTs being the best for taking out armored support and transport at medium ranges EMKV90-TOR tank being a tank destroyer at long ranges since it is a lighter and less armored tank. What the game really needs is some indirect support like mortars/UCAVS. Yeah it's cheap kills, but lets be honest, they are fun and do help the team clearing out objectives.

I dare say they had some good ideas just executed them poorly. Like the Drauger for example: it is supposed to be the equivlant of an attack/bomber jet but it's utterly useless until you unlock the other weapon systems. Not to mention I am suprised it doesnt have a cluster bomb weapons system you would expect it to be. Not to mention having no counter measures on it until you get 180 kills/assists minimum making you vulnerable/killed to every AA missile in the game. I pray they do better balancing for fresh unlocks in the next title if they abandon bots being used

While we need new vehicles, there is really no balance in 2042 when it comes to weapon vs Vehicles variety. I don't know the reason for their stubbornness when it comes to the vault weapons.

Frankly the IFV in away are kind of needed. The wildcat isn't really good for anti-personnel in certain aspects. I just can't wait to actually play with them and see how how they handle

Didn’t they cancel support for 2042? Why do they keep “updating” it? I’m just playing BF4 and BF5 because it’s fun and the players actually understand how to play a Battlefield game. Hoping the next one isn’t another disaster out the gates like BF5 and 2042 were.

I want more vault vehicles. For me, I don't really like vault weapons because they tend to be balanced to be below average and with missing attachments to make them comparable to base game weapons. At least in the vehicles they're giving them a chance to stand out.
