You just confirmed my choice for a cart. I have been online searching, and decided on the balloon tires!! GREAT videos. We were in Gulf Shores with kids and g-kids last month. I hadn't yet seen your videos... I am now preparing for a couples trip to Carillon Beach (near PC) in two weeks. Thank you for the great information. I hope that you did not get any damage from the hurricane.

Of course I enjoyed the video - always do! Great job Matthew and I'm really happy that you're so pleased with the new cart! - what an awesome gift! Always wondered how you managed to drag your old cart through the soft sand to all the remote places you fish! Congrats on another great video and for filling up the cooler with good fish!

I just came back from Cape San Blas Fl. We surf fished all week and only caught little jacks and catfish. I did throw a spoon on the beach early in the morning and caught about 25 ladyfish and one amberjack the day before I left. I also bought a cart just like yours. I love it.

I have a similar cart. When you push it I find it easier on the back. No twisting of the back muscles. Catching all those fish is enough for the back. I'll be coming down December till April 1. Hope we have similar luck. Were you out at Fort Morgan.

Redfish On! Filling the cooler is always a fun trip, but pulling back a new cart full is awesome. The conditions are forecast to even be getting better as the weekend progresses. Looks like we have the cousin of that heron hangin' out with us waiting for fish =)

How firm do you inflate tires? Psi gauges are having hard time reading pressure in these wheels, so i guess mine were sligthly unde inflated and i transported 80lb worth of weight and both tires started to bulge out on sides.

You can add a solid bottom to that cart fairly cheaply. Stainless steel sheet metal from Lowes trimmed to fit, add some weather stripping around the edges and attach it with zip ties. It just allows you to not have to worry about centering your load on the the struts.

@daddio72495 жыл бұрын
The DNR (or some goverment maturity) blocked motorized vehicles from driving to Matanzes Inlet. Now only able bodied people can fish there. You have to leave your truck by A1A and follow 200 yards of boardwalk and then traverse 100 yards of soft sand just to get to the water and then walk however far north or south to where you think the fish are. You can drive on the beach north of there towards St. Augustine but the beach there is wide and flat and you have to park up by the dunes. At low tide it can be 50 yds to the water and then it is another 50 yds to water that is over waist deep. And because of turtles you have to be off the beach at 7:00 pm.

What happened to the real fisherman, 2 rods over the shoulder, sling bag with a few hooks and weights, small box for bait, and a fish stringer for his catch, and a water bottle. its a wonder that the new generation of fisherman doesn't take a portable air-con with.
