The way that I interpreted what Parker was saying is that basically he wants to surround himself with ppl that are equally ambitious & genuinely want better for themselves. If you are actively trying to better yourself no matter what social class then cool. BUT if you’re just not trying or caring at all why is he going to want to invest himself in you when it seems like it’s only beneficial to you. You don’t have to have money but you do have to have drive.

I think y’all talking about two different things, he’s saying it as a man you can’t slack if you have to provide. he’s not saying if they’re not on the same level as them he doesn’t want to be friend, he’s saying if they aren’t trying as hard as they should be he doesn’t want them around. As a man

Omg I’m reading the book “men are from mars and women are from Venus” (heard about it on book tok lol) and everything Parker was saying in the car about being a provider matches with the book! And just from seeing the relationship you guys have it’s clear you guys are the perfect balance of feminine and masculine energy. But like the book talks about how men think vs how women think and like the disagreement you guys had in the car shows basically want the book talks about haha. I think you would like the book!

I think you should only surround yourself with people who are good for you . Are there for you mentally and emotionally . Why surround yourself with people you’re just wanting to party and have fun with and know they don’t add any good or value to your life. They don’t need to be on the same path as you or want the same things , yes they should have plans and goals so you guys can uplift eachother . You’re just having a mix of good people who are there and half assed people you just party with and you’re inviting those people into your HOME . A sacred place only good people with good intent should be . I definitely agree with what you said girl !
