I love your style (Colour) it’s very cute, but that doesn’t mean you have to treat your hamsters like this, here are some tips for better hamster care! Your hamster cage looks small so you should upgrade it! The bare minimum is 450 square inches but I recommend bigger and for Syrians I recommend 1000 square inches or more. Now to the bedding it seems like the bedding your using is fine but you must add lots of bedding as hamsters are burrowing creatures 6 inches if the minimum but recommend 10 inches or more, And I’m happy your using a sand bath, just make sure it doesn’t have `Dusk` in its name so it should say sand or something. So I hope this helps you!

She lives in China where the average apartment is 646 square feet. She has a rack system set up for her hamsters, they get attention daily, they get a varied diet that most hamsters don't. The cages are a wee bit smaller than most folks in the west would like, but Joycew takes pains to make sure her animals (these hamsters and a devon rex cat) are well taken care of and all their needs met. It is really easy to make comments on someone's setup without knowing the whole story.

HI! I love ur unboxing videos! But pls keep hamsters in separate cages because they r solitary :( also I would recommend andding more needing because a hamster needs at least 6 inches of bedding to properly burrow also would recommend not using mesh or wired wheels because it can cause something called bumblefoot and can cause a infection and can be rly painful for the hamster. But other than that all of the care is good :)

I believe those are hamsters baby that might be 2 weeks and a half. Baby hamsters should be kept together until 8 weeks or 10 weeks. Only separate them when they fight if not, just keep them together with THEIR MOTHER cause they need to learn how to eat, etc from the mother.

You have got to be kidding me. I’ve comments on your Facebook videos too. Just get them better cages and wheels. You obviously have the money to get proper bin cages. The videos may be cute and asmr but this isn’t okay.

I know it made me sad seeing how she gets them so much food and treats, but has really bad cages for them. I’m assuming she is just not educated and was told this is fine. People are just really domesticated honestly.

They are still babies. There's reasons you won't find a small cage with 4 full grown Syrian's in it. They are very violent after a certain age. Some people like to watch the drama unfold though I guess. But 4 large Syrian's won't be ok with you holding em after being driven insane by a crowed cage and each other.

Just wanted to make sure that you know that after the baby stage of a Syrian hamster, they have to all have their own cage because they all need their own space. Keeping them together is very dangerous because they will fight to the death when housed together. Also for the cage, it is to small. It should be a minimum of 450sq inches for each hamster. Bedding should also be 3 to 5 inches deep to for burrowing. When I first got a hamster I made the mistake of getting it to small of a cage. We all make mistakes and it is something to learn from to help us get better.

@@MusicByMag-KZbin I agree, the cage is too small, but since it is for baby hamsters that are still growing its ok but it would not work for older hamsters, since they are still young it is okay for them to be housed together.

@theresaperez98474 жыл бұрын
If you haven’t tamed your hamsters then you definitely need to so they don’t see your hand as a threat. Try offering them treats from your hand so they can get used to your hands.
@eschcal16193 жыл бұрын
To be honest, don't let getting bit scare you so much. Most times they don't fully chomp down, they'll give you a little bite followed by a bigger one a second or two later. If they bite just try again the next day, keep giving them treats they have to take from your hand and put your hands in their cage, rustle em' around and get them used to your hands just being around. One tip is to take a cup and let one crawl into it, then make it safely occupy the same general space as you, like in a bathtub (usually with an old blanket or something so they don't get hurt if they hit the tub). I find some are just bossy and will literally chase your hand outta the cage, rather than bite out of fear. It just depends on the hamster at that point.
