My last hamster was a really shy boy, and that's why I picked him. He screamed in the shop and he screamed the entire car ride home after I'd first bought him. Just imagine how much worse it'd have been for him if a family of screaming kids got him. I felt so bad for the little guy. Other than feedings, treats, and regular cage-cleaning, I left him alone most of the time so he could live a relaxed, quiet life without fear of being tossed around by hyper-active kids. He was a lot more calm and mellow after the first week.

They know how to take a bath when they need to. They just need a tiny "sandbox" to roll around in. They roll around in the sand you can't get them wet.

I've never heard one making that noise before. All the ones I've had as a child I played with and held them daily...a lot. Lol! One (my favorite...Lambchop) would take a nap with me. She'd curl up near my neck under my hair and nap. She was such a sweet little girl.

I miss my Bubbles Houdini. He was a great friend. Teddy bear, cream colored. Huge personality. I did give him a bath once, he got stuck on a sticky mouse trap. He had many friends in the 5 states he lived in in his short life, and not just humans. Watching your guys made me think of him. He had such a personality, and was spoiled.

My brother had a hamster who had the personality of a rat. She was super smart, obedient and playful. She also lived more than 3 years. She screamed the first week, but I've read is about the same with rats and mices.

I love this channel and I love what your doing. I love everything about it as I do very similar things with my hamsters (however, on a very small scale, I do not have multiple pregnant hamsters at once). I want to point out one thing as a male hamster content creator. I have been threatened by female hamster fanatics and groups to cancel my TikTok do to a video almost the very same as this one. I had a "spicy hamster", as I call them, and it took about 2-3 weeks to tame him. The different between your screaming hamster and mine that fact that I received my hamster from online from a family who's child clearly abused. This blackbear hamster screamed at the sight of another human. I managed to tame him through similar methods as your own. This is where the double standard comes in as a male hamster TikTok Creator. A young female creator who has a few videos about hamsters saw the video I tamed my spicy backbear hamster. This creator has over 1 million followers. She literally "duet"ed the beginning of my video (when the hamster is screaming), cut out the part where the hamster is happy and tamed, and cut out the final part explaining that he is in a new, forever home with a loving owner. She managed to paint me as a hamster abuser because she left out the good parts. Her fans in the comments after I defended myself, started calling me an misogynist, a female hater, the list goes on. I got threatened from a FB moderator of a hamster page with 30K+ members saying she is gonna get them all to report my videos and get me banned from TikTok. Those creators and people literally painted me as the worst person and saying that I should not be looking after Hamsters. The video she posted on her TikTok account goes on to saying that I strangled my hamsters into submission in order to tame him. Wtf? and people are believing it. They left out the good parts and the very fact the he got a lot of independence as hamsters should. I had to write over five appeals to the TikTok developers to unlock my content as there is nothing wrong with it. and Of course, they ended up unblocking the majority of my videos however my "Addiction Awareness" video got banned on TikTok all because this group of people who are under the false pretext that I am a hamster abuser (not true btw). On TikTok, KZbin, Facebook, and Twitter, I seen female accounts with Syrians hamsters in an enclosure smaller than a shoe box. There are dozens of channels out there that literally feed hamsters to predators for views. Why don't they go for them? I love my hamsters. I love this channel. I love my channel. Goodluck and thank you for all of your content KumaQQ. As a guy with clinical depression, this hit hard and I am still dealing with it. Sorry you have clinical depression, about the person that said, "Why are you laughing, it's not that funny." in your depression vid on TikTok, I think that person was just saying, not trying to make you feel down on purpose. I guess you can say it was really funny to me or explain why that happens every year when someone asks you that question again. There was a woman that said you were a backyard breeder because Wee was eating her baby hamsters, that you had no info from the farm owner, and she says you are an abuser but if you had no info it doesn't automatically mean you are an abuser. She said that she was not attacking your family and you said that, Idk which vids she said in because the comment access is off. Have you bought some better cages yet? Aww, cute, and so true! My last hamster was screaming the entire trip home from the breeder, which was about an hour and a half, but I did give her two hides and plenty of bedding in her plastic terrarium I used for transport vessel but she was nervous and probably pretty mad too… ( she had a piece of cucumber in there, too, in case she got thirsty.) a few days after we got home, however, she started to warm up to me and we became friends!

My furball snooty never hardly made a noise/ once she squeaked because she caught her foot in the cage that was it /but today after taking her to vet because she got mites as i was paying i nearly had a heart attack she was making such a sound i had never heard before it was LOUD and my heart just stopped /you never seen a human get back home so FAST so i could get her back in cage and de stressed i am sure she was scared smelling all the animals maybe ?/ gave her some banana and let her sleep off the shock i needed a Gin and tonic to de stress ME xx

🇬🇧 - when I bought a hamster from the pet-shop, I asked the owner if it was tame [had several that were nervous and would bite my hand/finger if I got near it to pick it up] and she said it wasn’t, ~ but to tame it = go to the bathroom with the hamster and get into the bathtub, fully clothed with no water and the plug in, and the cage lowered in the bath and the side door opened and the hamster should crawl out, and the cage lifted out by my mum, and not touching the hamster - allowing it to crawl/explore me ~ over my feet, legs, and eventually my hands and arms. The bath ~ it is a tall container = the hamster won’t be able to climb up it and escape, the plug has to be in to avoid the risk of the hamster trying to escape by going down the drain/encouraged to do so. After doing that for a week/5 days, the hamster got used to me and I could present my hand to it and it would not bite, and crawl into my hand and I could pet it ☺️

My hamster was just rllly active not shy, but he loves to watch ur hamster videos! I bring him out, he comes on my hand and went on the table i put him went to my phone and kept going in circles as if he wanted to watch something, so i opened this video, and he stopped doing it and he taught me a lesson too. 🤣🤣 He also got tamed quickly! It seems like my hamster was very fimular with my scent, everytime i come to take him out, he smells me first then comes up. I thought, he thought of my scent as his owner or best friend. My hamster did not scream or hiss the way home, he was very quiet and being a good boy, although, he is very playful at home lol. He is a Robo Russian Dwarf. I Luv ur channel u make great content! I learned a lot about hamsters from ur channel, he gives me signs about what he wants to do too! He looks at me (stare) if i do something wrong or if i did the wrong thing.
