a wild Primate appears in my feed. Coincidentally, I just recently installed 7D2D after seeing a dev post in Steam that they updated. I've been gone for 2 years! and they optimized it so well that I can consistently play with high fps. The random fps spikes though where it completely does a freeze frame still happens, albeit more rarely now. Back then it used to happen a lot that it makes me nauseous playing as if it's a stop-motion animation

A wild Primate used Hive Five, it was super effective! Haha Glad your able to play, maybe turn off motion blur and a few other settings, May help with the nausea 👍

Going back here to finish the last quarter of the video. But anyways, having been playing for more hours, I find it hard to not use clubs - it's just too good that it trivializes using any other melee. Even more so in vanilla because of the broken zombie range. I tried playing on Insane difficulty like I always did - got my ass handed to me because of 2 things: Zombie Reach and the grind now kinda shocked me. It's sooooo much more grind now

I'm going to start calling you "Lucky Primate". I'm on my fourth game now in A21, traveled around the map, worked up to tier 5 quests, etc. and never, not once have I seen a wolf much less a dire wolf. So lucky!!😂

So, what exactly do you think that you can do with that beaker? 🤔

Hmm...guessing there has been changes I don't know about? Was thinking to nab it and save it for chem Station seeing as it tool me 40 days to get one before. Are they more plentiful now? Is it not worth getting?

@@PriMate The beaker isn't the lynchpin to getting the chem station, as they regularly show up in Jen's inventory. Even if you go intellect, you're more likely to get a chem station as a quest reward or buy one than build one. But maybe also look at the campfire recipes and actually have a think about what you actually need that beaker for. Right now the game is very much balanced towards going full trader and crafting nothing at all. 🤷‍♂

@@PriMate Nah, if you weren't busy talking instead of thinking, you'd've figured it out just as fast as me. 😉 It's a good thing you turned feral sense on because the economic game loop that the game favors right now is straight up easy mode. I would suggest that you plan for making outpost bases near the other traders so you can focus on leveling them up to get the inventory items that you want as you're going to have limited mobility for a WHILE. Also, how the hell did you actually find a wolf in the forest biome? LOL

Haha! Nah no mods my friend. I turn shadows off, reflections off and other bits like that off, to free up space for the mic software and video capture. Probably why it looks different
