It’s new beginning in our lives. Nanduni begins her career as a doctor at District General Hospital Kilinochchi as an Intern Doctor in Sri Lanka. It will be a tough year and this is how we started it.
මං ආසම නගරයක් මං කිලිනොච්චි වල අවුරැදු 3ක් හිටියා ❤️අක්කා town එකේ අම්මාච්චි එකට ගිහින් කිරි ආප්ප කන්න 😊ගෙදර එනකොට night ac bus book කරන්න පුලුවන් comfortable and safety 🥰Good luck and enjoy your new journey ❤
Dear Daughter Naduni and Putha Madhawa, Though I have not messaged you earlier , I was a secret admirer of the young, dynamic ,capable you two since your marriage has been acquainted to the public. You both handle the life in a kind of professional , jovial, examplary and a special way. It's a bit rare. Though the distance keeps you two apart for a short time, bear it up thinking that you are going to do a great service to the fellow human beings and the Motherland Sri Lakna! My heartiest wishes for you to show your colours in the Field of Medicine! A special reference is made to Putha Madhawa for being a wonderful husband as well as an outstanding presenter in the Field of Media.

Good luck doctor 🌷❤ දළදා සමිඳුන්ගේ පිහිටයි හැමදාම පරිස්සමෙන් ඉන්න දෙන්නම
I've been there too. I know the exact feeling. All the best, Naduni nangi. This year will mould you to become a strong, resileint and a confidant doctor.
This the every intern’s and PG’s life. You will enjoy this difference, anyways. It’s so difficult when u become a mom or a dad. Hats off to every one & every doctor parent who is far away from home committed to work. All best to you. ❤

අනේ කවදහරි දවසක මේ වගේ දවසක් එයි.. 🥹♥️ Good luck akkii dennm hodin adaren inn oneee... 😌♥️
This feels close to my heart. I had a similar experience doing long distance for 5 months last year, 500+ miles away in two different states. We thought that’s the end but here we are again starting the long distance again from August, not knowing the end date, moving to the uncertainty again! I’m so grateful to all the people who helped me and are still helping me to go through this, above all so grateful for my husband who visited me every weekend driving 8+ hours after his work on Friday evenings! You’re stronger than you think! Believe in yourself! ❤
i cried watching this. That feeling when you have to part ways is very painful. You can only comfort yourself thinking that time will pass by soon and keeping yourself busy. All the best akki💕

Thank you for helping Sri Lankans who are in rural and other areas in Sri Lanka. The Colombo centric and Kandy centric mentality of Sri Lankans have caused a lot of issues in Sri Lanka. My aunt is a Doctor and she received internship in Colombo General Hospital in the 1980s but she refused! Yep, she wanted to help people in other parts of Sri Lanka so she volunteered/opted to go for a hospital in a rural area. So think about the bright side of serving the community in Kilinochchi! Thank you Doctor!

It's refreshing to see how nice a husband is being extremely supportive to his wife's work. People should take this as a positive attitude and build a good understanding about their spouses rather than just assuming a woman's work should be done by herself and take care of the man and the housework. It's actually refreshing to see this side of a Sri Lankan man/husband. Both of you are lucky to have each other.. and have an amazing experience with your future dear ❤
