Hi Zack! Wow, this is quite the round-up - and so many channel recommendations! I never thought much about hair brushes and combs, and I always learn so much from your videos - I used to only use a comb because I have straight hair, but I picked up a Tangle Teezer based on another of your videos a little while ago and it helps keep everything smooth while maintaining volume, plus it's such a pleasure to use. I'm very interested in the Chanel stick highlighter. I love highlighter so much but, you're right! Some of it does just sit on the skin and shows all of the texture!!

Hi Andi!!!! You are very welcome, and thank you again for the wonderful birthday present; I love my new goodies!!! Highlighters are gorgeous, but some of them just don’t do our skin texture any favours! The Chanel Baume Essential is quite fascinating as it has impact with such a small amount of product, and the way it smooths texture is quite remarkable! It reminds me of the Essence Pure Nude Baked Highlighter and the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder, as they give a glow that imparts a “your skin but better” effect! I could legit listen to you talk for hours. I don’t think you mean to be ASMR, but your soothing voice is what I envision the others are striving for. Do you have makeup book recommendations? I just bought a few from ThriftBooks. Color Me Beautiful, Bobby Brown. I wanted the Kevin Aucoin but they were out of stock.

Color Me Beautiful has been on my list to read for ages, and I would love to know your thoughts on it! ☺️ Both of Kevyn Aucoin's books, Making Faces and Face Forward, are incredible!!! In Making Faces, there is a picture of Nicole Kidman as Ann-Margret that has inspired me for over a decade now!!!! Bobbi Brown’s Makeup Manila is another favourite, and I adore the blush-heavy looks the book features! I also have Scott Barnes's book About Face and Makeup Makeover by Robert Jones, and they are lovely! Face Paint: The History of Makeup by Lisa Eldridge is my coffee table book and one I never get bored of flipping through! Also, while it is not a book, New Beauty magazine is an incredible beauty read focusing on the latest innovations. Some of their top choice products lean toward the luxury end of the spectrum, but it is a delightful read that I am on the lookout for any time I am in the USA!
